This role is ideal for an experienced professional interested in applying their expertise to product marketing and commercial strategy within a dynamic healthcare environment. The Sr. Product Manager will support product strategy, launch execution, and KOL engagement on the Global/US Coronary Marketing team within the Interventional Cardiology Therapies (ICT) Operating Unit. This role offers strong development opportunities and exposure to cross‑functional partners while contributing to initiatives that support customer needs and patient impact.

Joining the Complex Coronary Interventions team offers a unique opportunity to support Marketing strategy for market-leading devices, emerging technologies with rapidly expanding clinical evidence, and future product launches in new device categories all serving Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) patients in one of the most graphically diverse therapies in medical devices.

Day in the Life:

  • Develop and execute short and long-term strategic marketing plans spanning commercial strategy, product promotion, internal training, evidence strategy, and medical education.

  • Develop product positioning, messaging, and value propositions leveraging customer insights and market research.

  • Contribute to the development of marketing materials, sales tools, and training resources that support field teams and product adoption.

  • Monitor competitive landscape, clinical evidence trends, and emerging technologies.

  • Work closely with regional marketing and sales teams to drive marketing strategy execution aimed at achieving commercial objectives.

  • Partner with cross‑functional teams including clinical, R&D, regulatory, operations/supply chain, quality, marketing communications, to support product initiatives and ensure coordinated execution.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree 

  • 7 years of experience in marketing, product management, sales, consulting, healthcare, or a related business or commercial role (5 with advanced degree)

  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time

Nice to have

  • MBA or Master's in Business, Hospital Administration, Nursing, or Life Science 

  • Experience in medical devices, healthcare technology, or digital health

  • Familiarity with interventional cardiology, coronary procedures, and healthcare economics

  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects, analyze data, and collaborate across teams

  • Strong communication, organizational, and complex problem‑solving skills

  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and matrixed environments

  • Proven ability to translate complex technology into simple, compelling narratives

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$133,600.00 - $200,400.00


This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).

 

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to all regular employees: Incentive plans, 401(k) plan plus employer contribution and match, Short-term disability, Paid time off, Paid holidays, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Employee Assistance Program, Non-qualified Retirement Plan Supplement (subject to IRS earning minimums), and Capital Accumulation Plan (available to Vice Presidents and above, or subject to IRS earning minimums).

 

Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns.  Temporary employees are eligible for paid sick time, as required under applicable state law, and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Please note some of the above benefits may not apply to workers in Puerto Rico.
