About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to play a key role in shaping the future of mental fitness for parents and children. In this position, you will lead the design and development of our mobile application from the ground up. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design process, from initial concept exploration to high-fidelity user interfaces. This includes designing core features such as onboarding experiences, interactive in-session animations, and user dashboards, ensuring every element contributes to a cohesive, accessible, and engaging product experience.

We’re seeking a designer who brings empathy, creativity, and precision to their work, and who thrives in close collaboration with Product, Program, and Engineering teams.

This position will require being on-site 5 days a week 

What Success Looks Like

  • Playful, Intuitive UX: Designs that are age-appropriate, emotionally engaging, and easy to navigate, for both kids and grown-ups
  • Polished UI: A design system that feels modern, human, and scalable across web, mobile, and internal tools
  • User-Centered Iteration: Prototypes are tested early and often with real users, leading to better engagement and clarity
  • Product Partnership: Design decisions are aligned with product roadmap and growth goals

Key Responsibilities

  • Design End-to-End Experiences: From idea to shipped product - own the design of features across web and mobile
  • Proven experience designing for and launching an app (iOS), including embedding and integrating video content seamlessly into mobile experiences
  • Prototype, Test, Repeat: Run user testing sessions, gather feedback from parents and kids, and evolve designs rapidly
  • Maintain and Evolve the Design System: Create reusable components and design guidelines that scale
  • Use Data to Iterate: Leverage user insights and product metrics to continuously refine design decisions and improve the experience

You’re a Great Fit If You...

  • Are deeply curious about how kids learn, engage, and grow, and want to design with them in mind
  • Have a strong portfolio of shipped mobile digital products with a focus on usability and emotion
  • Can balance simplicity and delight, especially in products for multiple user types (kids, parents, coaches)
  • Have strong visual design skills and experience with tools like Figma, Adobe CC (desirable)

Essential Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Product Design (ideally required, but not mandatory)
  • 7+ years of product or UX design experience, ideally in edtech, healthtech, or consumer apps
  • Proven experience designing for and launching an app (iOS)
  • Skilled in designing for diverse user groups, including children, parents, and multi-stakeholder environments
  • Thrive in fast-paced environments, with a bias toward rapid iteration, problem-solving, and adaptability
