- Ability to credibly engage engineers, estimators, and shop-floor personnel
- Strong understanding of real-world production processes and cost drivers
- Ability to rapidly assess client environments and translate manufacturing workflows into cost insights
- Capable of linking engineering design → manufacturing process → cost outcome in client discussions
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Solutioning
- Lead technical discovery sessions to understand client manufacturing, engineering, and cost challenges
- Rapidly assess production environments and identify key cost drivers, inefficiencies, and risks
- Translate client workflows into SEER-MFG and SEER-H solution approaches aligned to their data and systems
- Develop and deliver high-impact demonstrations showing clear linkage between design, process, and cost
- Engage both engineering teams and shop-floor stakeholders with credibility
- Support proposal development with technical narratives, solution architectures, and basis of estimate inputs
Sales Support & Growth
- Partner with Business Development to qualify opportunities and shape winning strategies
- Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the pre-sales lifecycle
- Support pricing discussions by articulating value tied to cost savings, risk reduction, and decision speed
- Contribute to account strategy development for key pursuits across U.S. and European markets
Technical Expertise & Thought Leadership
- Apply expertise in:
- Cost estimation methodologies (parametric, bottoms-up, analogy)
- Manufacturing processes and cost drivers
- Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design to Cost (DTC)
- Identify and communicate true process-level cost drivers (labor, cycle time, yield, scrap, tooling, etc.)
- Support development of demo scenarios, use cases, and industry-specific solution frameworks
