Overview:

As the Sr. Analyst for International Pricing, you will support our international team in driving global expansion by analyzing market trends, competitive pricing, and consumer behavior to ensure Alo Yoga’s international pricing strategy is aligned with brand positioning and financial objectives across both retail stores and digital channels. This highly analytical and strategic role will play a key part in informing pricing decisions and will work cross-functionally with Merchandising, Finance, Planning, and our Digital and Retail teams to execute market-relevant pricing strategies.

Responsibilities: 

Global Pricing Strategy: 

  • Set and manage Web and Store prices across all international markets.
  • Monitor and adjust pricing based on local market trends, brand positioning, and business objectives.
  • Maintain consistent pricing architecture across global regions while adapting to local market needs. 

Margin Analysis & Optimization: 

  • Own and maintain margin reports by market, ensuring profitability targets are met.
  • Partner with Finance and Buying teams to review pricing impacts on margins and overall financial performance. 

Currency & Exchange Rate Impact: 

  • Monitor currency fluctuations and assess their implications on pricing and margin.
  • Propose strategic pricing adjustments to mitigate FX risk while maintaining competitive positioning. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

  • Collaborate with Merchandising, Planning, Finance, Digital, and Retail teams to ensure pricing supports brand vision and operational execution.
  • Act as a pricing liaison between regional teams and central strategy. 

Market Entry & Positioning Strategy: 

  • Analyze and advise on optimal pricing strategies for new market entry.
  • Conduct market research by country to assess regional purchasing behaviors, price sensitivity, and competitive benchmarks.
  • Support go-to-market strategies with pricing insights aligned with local consumer expectations and brand positioning. 

Competitive Analysis: 

  • Perform ongoing competitor pricing analysis across all regions to ensure competitive pricing and identify white space opportunities.
  • Benchmark products against key players in each market. 

Executive Communication: 

  • Create compelling, data-driven presentations for executive-level audiences to support pricing strategies and business decisions. 
  • Provide clear pricing rationales, market insights, and recommendations to leadership. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in pricing analysis, financial planning, or merchandising analytics; international experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of foreign currency dynamics and margin management.
  • Proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau), and presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint or Keynote).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strong communicator, with ability to synthesize complex data points into a clear strategy.
  • Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, global retail or e-commerce environment is a plus. 

 

The base salary range for this position is $120,000-$135,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
