R1 RCM is seeking a Power BI Developer to join the Business Intelligence department. This role will report directly to the BI Development Manager in the BI Department. The core responsibility for this role is to develop and enhance our Business Intelligence toolset (through Power BI & Snowflake) to create operational accountability and intelligence that supports the growth strategy for the organization. This individual will collaborate with other BI Developers managing all development efforts in a sprint agile framework, building technical requirements, and ensuring the product is developed and released efficiently, accurately and to our stakeholders’ expectations all while working equally effectively both independently and collaboratively.

Here's what you will experience working as a Sr. Power BI Developer:

  • Gain an understanding of current analytics and reporting library with a focus on business purpose, model structure, data elements, and visualizations
  • Maintain and develop Snowflake backend SQL queries, functions and stored procedures
  • Maintain and develop Power BI visualization tool
  • Implement Power BI development best practices focusing on maintainability, performance efficiency, and accuracy
  • Work directly with leadership to develop project roadmap and timeline to completion
  • Perform quality assurance checks throughout development to ensure data integrity is maintained
  • Provide frequent progress updates on overall project initiative to leadership and stakeholders to ensure deadlines and expectations are being met
  • Frequent communication to leadership on roadblocks delaying progress
  • Be a team player with a self-driven, positive attitude while interacting and supporting the EA team’s initiative

Required Skills:

  • Ideally 3-5 years’ experience in a Power BI developer role managing the development of PBI business intelligence and reporting tools
  • Strong proficiency of Snowflake or SQL and Microsoft Power BI technologies
  • Advanced DAX programming language expertise required
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred
  • Vigorous attention to detail & understanding of the importance of quality assurance
  • Ability to summarize and communicate project progress on regular cadence
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced matrixed environment, with a results-driven team-oriented culture
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $59,282.00 - $110,424.03 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 10.00%
