In this role, you will architect and ship AI agents, agentic systems, and GenAI-powered tooling that transform how we develop software, serve customers, and scale operations. You'll own mission-critical distributed systems supporting payments and financial pipelines - and apply AI to make them smarter and more resilient. Duties & Responsibilities
- Build and ship AI agents, agentic systems, and GenAI-powered tooling to multiply engineering productivity and unlock new product capabilities.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership to align on strategic initiatives and AI "Experiments" that will shape the future of our platform.
- Work closely with the AI Center of Excellence and stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in AI/ML and distributed systems architecture.
- Teach and mentor methods of rapid prototyping using generative AI tools and techniques.
- Build AI tooling and systems to unlock intelligence in the ML/Data Platform.
- Identify , experiment, and scale MCP use cases for our platform and customers
- Foster an environment where different backgrounds , cultures, industry and life experiences are embraced and valued.
- Own mission-critical distributed systems supporting payments and financial pipelines where downtime isn't an option.
- Drive experimentation, rapid prototyping, fast failure, and data-driven iterations.
- Champion engineering excellence through code reviews, thorough documentation, and technical guidance.
Preferred Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in software or solution architecture roles, with a focus on designing and implementing complex, enterprise-level solutions using cloud platforms.
- Hands-on Generative AI experience-not just awareness, but actual implementation of LLM-powered applications, agents, or agentic systems.
- Proven track record owning mission-critical distributed systems (such as payments, financial infrastructure, high-throughput data pipelines, ledger systems).
- Self-directed ownership mentality-you identify opportunities, architect solutions, and see problems through end-to-end.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and architectural frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Continuous Delivery patterns, Cloud foundational patterns, Observability patterns, Developer experience patterns.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
Technical Proficiency and Skills :
