Sword Health is seeking a Partner Operations Manager to own the operational backbone of a portfolio of partner relationships. This is an individual-contributor role with direct accountability for how partnerships actually run day to day: configuration, billing, integrations, implementations, escalations, and account business reviews. The right candidate brings the operational rigor to run complex, multi-stakeholder partnerships end to end, and the judgment to know when to resolve something directly and when to escalate it.
What you'll be doing:
- Own the operational execution for an assigned partner portfolio: configuration, file feeds, billing, integrations, and reporting.
- Lead implementations and ongoing operational work for new and existing partners, coordinating internally to keep commitments on track.
- Run partner-level escalations to resolution, looping in Partner Sales, Product, Client and Data Operations, or Customer Success as needed.
- Own account/partner business review prep and delivery for your portfolio.
- Serve as the day-to-day operational point of contact for partner and partner-customer stakeholders.
- Partner closely with Partner Sales, Client and Data Operations, Product, and Customer Success to keep partnerships running smoothly and flag risk early.
What you need to have:
- Experience owning complex operational workflows for external partners or clients: billing, integrations, data or file feeds, or similar systems-level work.
- Comfort operating across ambiguity with multiple internal and external stakeholders, without needing a defined playbook for every situation.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking foundation: you reason from facts, synthesize clearly, and communicate with brevity.
- High initiative and sound judgment: you identify what matters and act without waiting to be directed.
- A track record of building trust directly with external partners or customers, not just internal stakeholders.
- Direct, ongoing accountability for an external-facing relationship (client, partner, or vendor) as a standing responsibility, not a one-time project -- this is what separates someone ready for live, recurring partner ops from a general internal-ops background.
What we'd love to see:
- Experience in health plans, digital health, or the partner/benefits ecosystem.
- Familiarity with partner or channel operations models (implementation, contracting handoff, ongoing account management).
- Experience with billing, data integration, or technical operations in a client- or partner-facing role.
