Performs multiple legal tasks in support of single or multiple trial attorneys, including legal research, drafting litigation documents, and assisting with discovery, witness coordination, and evidence management. Conducts moderately complex research and analyzes law sources such as statutes, judicial decisions, and procedural rules. Prepares standard litigation documents, supports trial preparation, and maintains organized case files throughout all phases of civil litigation.
Responsibilities
Discovery support — Assists with document collection, review, organization, and production. Helps locate witnesses and evidence, prepare exhibit lists, and coordinates with vendors when needed.
Legal research — Performs moderate‑level legal research and analyzes statutes, case law, court rules, and procedural requirements for trial attorneys. Assists in factual investigations and compiles data from various resources relevant to civil claims and defenses.
Litigation drafting — Drafts pleadings, discovery requests and responses, deposition summaries, correspondence, inter‑office memos, and other litigation‑related documents.
Trial preparation — Prepares trial binders, witness files, demonstratives, and timelines. Supports attorneys during hearings, mediations, and trial as needed.
Case management — Maintains and organizes case files, calendars deadlines, tracks litigation tasks, and ensures compliance with court rules and filing requirements.
Uses initiative and discretion in accomplishing routine litigation assignments with minimal supervision. Handles a variety of tasks ranging from routine to those requiring judgment and limited independent initiative.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
4–6 years of paralegal experience, preferably in civil litigation
Proven legal research skills
Advanced experience drafting and reviewing litigation documents
Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
Ability to handle confidential information and exercise discretion
Excellent interpersonal skills for working with attorneys, clients, and witnesses
Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
Proven ability to meet productivity and service quality expectations

The starting pay range for this position is:
$33.43 - $44.53Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
