The Role:
The Sr. Operations and Launch Manager will lead the planning and coordination of complex, cross-functional product launches and strategic initiatives. Acting as the central point of accountability, this role ensures alignment across Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Experience, Engineering, Finance, and Revenue Operations.
This individual will own the operational framework for launches — tracking deliverables, managing interdependencies, coordinating client-facing communications, and ensuring all stakeholders are prepared and aligned. The Sr. Operations and Launch Manager will play a critical role in disseminating go-to-market strategy and messaging across internal and external teams, ensuring clarity, consistency, and adoption.
Responsibilities:
- Launch Strategy & Execution
- Lead the planning and execution of 5-10 product launches a year – managing launch tier requirements, objectives, milestones, and deliverables across multiple functions
- Track all moving parts tied to launches — from technical dependencies to operational handoffs — ensuring nothing is missed
- Establish and manage launch governance and standard operating processes, including full tiered launch requirement checklists, readiness reviews, and go/no-go checkpoints
- Serve as the command center for launch status, providing clear visibility to senior and executive leadership
- Reports directly into Sr. Director of Product Marketing
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Drive alignment across Marketing, Product, Engineering, Client Experience, Finance, Revenue Operations, Legal and Partnerships
- Disseminate go-to-market strategy and messaging across all client- and prospect-facing functions
- Anticipate risks, surface interdependencies, and proactively resolve issues before they impact timelines
- Ensure smooth collaboration between teams, fostering accountability and shared ownership of launch outcomes
- Internal and External Communications Management
- Identify and escalate product issues that could impact launch timelines, customer experience, or market perception, ensuring rapid resolution through appropriate channels
- Coordinate issue response across teams, managing internal communication flow and ensuring customer-facing teams have accurate, timely information during product incidents
- Oversee all teams and individual contributors responsible for internal and external communications tied to launches are delivered on time
- Build and maintain repeatable frameworks for internal updates and client-facing communications that support adoption, retention, and engagement
- Ensure stakeholders across the organization are trained, informed, and equipped to deliver consistent messages to clients and partners
- Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Establish frameworks to measure launch performance, adoption, and business impact
- Lead post-launch reviews, capturing lessons learned and embedding best practices into future processes
- Drive continuous improvement of launch operations to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Skills and Qualifications:
- 7+ years of project or program management experience, with significant exposure to product launches or go-to-market execution in SaaS, fintech, or other complex industries
- PMP, PgMP, or similar project/program management certification
- Proven track record managing cross-functional initiatives with executive visibility and measurable outcomes
- Ability to understand how multiple parts of the business interconnect and influence successful launches
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage complexity and bring clarity to competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders and coordinating sensitive client communications
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Monday.com)
