Sr. Motion Designer

North- Remote, US

What you'll be doing:

  • Create video and motion graphics from scratch for online commercials, promotional videos, tutorials, and multiple social media accounts.
  • Manage projects from inception to launch.
  • Create unique 2D and 3D animations of multiple products and UI systems for use in promotional video.
  • Lead live event and studio production when applicable, including setting a stage, lighting a set, and shooting footage w/video or still camera.
  • Sourcing and directing staff, booking venues, and hiring equipment for live shoots.
  • Curate and produce unique audio, visual effects, and distinct brand animations.
  • Proactively assess, suggest improvements and concept ideas targeted to unique audiences.
  • Maintain knowledge of company products and services, and understand product and marketing goals for multiple brands.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends in video marketing with a focus on the payments industry.
  • Participate in Marketing, Product, and Creative department meetings and proactively contribute ideas.

What we need from you:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience crafting best-in-class video production.
  • Bachelor’s degree in motion graphics, electronic arts, or related subject or equivalent work experience.
  • Top-notch demo reel of your work that shows the depth and breadth of your expertise.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe After Effects, Principle for Mac, Premier Pro, Adobe
  • Creative Suite, and at least one 3D animation tool.
  • Work in close collaboration with stakeholders, designers, and marketing managers throughout all phases of project development.
  • Comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently, think critically, and innovate.
  • Strong attention to detail skills with an emphasis on accuracy, quality, and a critical eye for design aesthetics.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent English and grammar skills, and a comfort with developing simple messaging based on content.
