Job Description Summary

Cushman & Wakefield, a global commercial real estate services firm, is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Sr. Marketing Specialist on our Birmingham – Gulf States Team. The Sr. Marketing Specialist will be a member of the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group (“SB-MAG”), a 110-person investment sales team covering 11 states with #1 multifamily market share. The group is comprised of 12 brokerage teams specializing by product type, client profile, and regional geography, and since 2016, has led all Cushman & Wakefield multifamily teams in deals closed and sales volume.

Job Description

The Sr. Marketing Specialist is responsible for using Adobe InDesign to create marketing materials to sell multifamily properties. They will work closely with Analysts and Sales Partners to creatively translate data sets and concepts into an easily understandable end-product. The Sr. Marketing Specialist must be capable of providing timely, consistent, and high-quality work, while collaborating with the regional marketing team to ensure cohesive branding across the SB-MAG platform.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Marketing Materials
    • Manage and prioritize incoming requests from Sales Partners and Analysts.
    • Successfully transfer Analyst-provided content and data from Microsoft Excel/Word to Adobe InDesign.
    • Use templates to design and format client deliverables, pitch presentations, and offering memorandums.
    • Interact professionally with clients and vendors to complete marketing-related tasks (scheduling photography and flown aerials, professionally printing materials, requesting approvals, etc).
    • Aerials: Select shots and identify surrounding highlights that support sales story.
    • Photography: Select shots and use Photoshop (if current skillset) to complete light touch-up like adding green grass, blue skies, brightening, etc.
  • General Marketing
    • Prepare contact lists and marketing timelines.
    • Demonstrate creative development and production skills.
    • Produce creative collateral to support the business, ensuring alignment with company's brand positioning from concept to final product; and utilize available creative programs.
      • Manage creative requirements, expectations, and deadlines for all projects.
      • Develop and customize marketing collateral and design work.
    • Share best practices with regional marketing team and participate in cross-training sessions.
    • Assist with scheduling tours and conference calls, as needed.

Background And Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or Communications, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Moderate knowledge of marketing and communications disciplines.
  • Moderate knowledge of commercial real estate industry, or willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and mild competency in Photoshop a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Deadline-oriented and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-changing environment.
  • Experience with graphics, marketing, or production environment.
  • Adept at navigating strong personalities.
  • Real estate background and knowledge would be advantageous.
