We are seeking a data-driven Sr. Marketing Automation Specialist to support audience segmentation, drive database optimizations, and maintain legal compliance. This role will help ensure our marketing and sales teams have access to actionable data for effective campaign execution and lead follow-up.
Additionally, this role will support the broader marketing team with webinar and event integrations, Eloqua campaign builds, and other marketing campaign configuration activities as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Audience Segmentation
- Partner with marketing teams to translate campaign briefs into audience criteria and targeting logic
- Build audience segments based on defined include / exclude criteria including customer, behavioral, firmographic, and demographic attributes
- Manage data availability across our various databases, automating data flows when possible and performing manual data extracts and uploads as needed
- Report on key audience metrics including volume, growth, and engagement
Database Management
- Maintain the health of our marketing databases ensuring segmentation and list load best practices are being followed
- Ensure compliance with global data regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CCPA) as directed by our Data Protection Officer
- Manage opt out processes ensuring global alignment and adherence
- Perform regular database clean-ups maintaining our contractual limits
- Support enrichment and contact acquisition through automated and ad hoc ZoomInfo workflows
Marketing Campaign Support
- Manage technical setup for webinars and events configuring integrations and testing data flows
- Support email marketing campaign execution with complex Eloqua campaign builds and other system configurations
- Provide landing page and form support to the Campaign and Web Teams ensuring data is properly captured for tracking and compliance
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in B2B marketing operations, marketing automation, or database marketing.
- Strong proficiency for managing segmentation logic, complex data structures, and data hygiene processes.
- Experience working with Marketing Automation platforms (preferably Eloqua or Marketo) and CRMs (preferably Salesforce).
- Working knowledge of compliance standards and email marketing best practices.
- Proficient in Excel especially with data cleanup and manipulation
For Individuals based in New York, Illinois, Colorado, Washington, and California, Cision is required to disclose a salary range for this role. This compensation range is specific to these states, however base pay may vary depending on a range of relevant factors.
