The Market Analyst will shape competitive intelligence strategies by analyzing market trends, monitoring competitors, reporting findings, and supporting sales enablement.
The Market Analyst will play a critical role in shaping MeridianLink’s competitive intelligence strategy by delivering insights that inform product positioning, go-to-market strategies, and sales enablement. This role will support the MeridianLink team by centralizing and analyzing competitive data, synthesizing market trends, and helping to scale intelligence across the organization through competitive intelligence tools.
Key Responsibilities
Competitive Intelligence:
·Monitor and analyze competitor strategies, product offerings, pricing, and positioning.
·Partner with Product Marketing Managers to maintain and update battlecards, win/loss insights, and competitive profiles.
·Partner with Sales, RevOps, and Product to gather field intelligence and validate insights.
Market Research & Trend Analysis:
·Conduct research on industry trends, customer behavior, and emerging technologies.
·Track macroeconomic and regulatory shifts impacting financial institutions and fintechs.
· Support quarterly market landscape updates and strategic planning sessions.
Insight Reporting & Enablement:
·Develop dashboards and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
·Collaborate with Product Marketing Managers to integrate insights into messaging, campaigns, and product launches.
·Support sales enablement with objection handling, trap questions, and competitive positioning.
Tool & Process Ownership:
· Assist in implementation of CI tools (e.g., Klue, Crayon) and continue to manage to ensure data hygiene and stakeholder engagement.
· Help define and evolve CI governance and reporting package.
Qualifications
·3–5 years of experience in market research, competitive intelligence, or product marketing.
·Strong analytical skills with experience in Excel, Powerpoint, or similar tools.
·Familiarity with CI platforms (e.g., Klue, Crayon) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
·Excellent communication and storytelling skills—able to distill complex data into clear insights.
·Experience in B2B SaaS or fintech preferred.

Salary range of $80,000 - $117,400. [It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.] The actual salary will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law including geographical location.
