Job Description:

Altera is seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Web Experience & Digital Strategy to own the vision, roadmap, and execution of Altera.com, our primary digital experience for customers, distributors, and partners. This role is responsible for delivering a world-class B2B digital journey that supports demand generation, technical support, customer awareness and evaluation, developer enablement, training, and corporate positioning.

This is a hands-on leadership position requiring a blend of digital strategy, UX expertise, technical understanding of enterprise web platforms, semiconductor industry experience and strong cross-functional influence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for the Altera.com experience to support key business goals across marketing, product, support, and training.

  • Own the web experience strategy, including UX, information architecture, design standards, content architecture, SEO, and analytics frameworks.

  • Manage and evolve the web platform ecosystem, including Drupal/Acquia, Salesforce integrations, Khoros community pathways, Fluid Topics documentation, and Docebo training experiences.

  • Direct, mentor, and grow a team of web producers, UX/design partners, and external agencies.

  • Establish and operate a scalable web production and governance model covering intake, prioritization, sprint planning, content updates, QA, and release management.

  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Support, IT, Brand, and GTM leadership to ensure the website aligns with business priorities and delivers measurable results.

  • Use GA4, Google Tag Manager, experimentation, and A/B testing to drive continuous improvement and data-driven decision making.

  • Ensure brand consistency, accessibility, performance, security, and overall quality across all digital touchpoints.

Salary Range 

 

The pay range below is for Bay Area California only. Actual salary may vary based on a number of factors including job location, job-related knowledge, skills, experiences, trainings, etc. We also offer incentive opportunities that reward employees based on individual and company performance.  

$159.7K - $231.2K USD

Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience leading enterprise-scale B2B or technical web experiences at a semiconductor or related industry organization.

  • Proven success owning both strategy and execution for large, complex websites.

  • Deep experience with Drupal/Acquia, modern UX practices, design systems, and component-based architectures.

  • Strong background in digital strategy, customer journey design, and funnel optimization.

  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with senior executives and cross-functional teams to translate business goals into scalable digital experiences.

  • Expertise with GA4, GTM, SEO, A/B testing, analytics, and data-driven optimization.

  • Experience with platforms such as Salesforce, Khoros, Docebo, Fluid Topics, and marketing automation tools.

  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to mentor, influence, and drive accountability across teams.

  • Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
