We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Manager, Tax Operations, to lead the Company’s global tax reporting and compliance, and support strategic tax planning initiatives. This role reports to the VP of Tax.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead global tax compliance including US and foreign corporate income tax returns, sales tax and VAT/GST returns.
  • Manage advisors in the preparation and timely filing of direct and indirect tax returns. 
  • Oversee computation of the Company’s global tax provision in partnership with advisors to deliver timely and accurate tax reporting for financial statement purposes.
  • Conduct operational transfer pricing exercises, e.g., preparing TP calculations, reviewing global TP documentation, and drafting/revising intercompany agreements.
  • Support global tax audits including data gathering, responding to information requests, corresponding with advisors and tax authorities. 
  • Develop tools/processes to monitor, track and execute quarterly tax provision exercises, tax return filings, tax audits and other tax deliverables. 
  • Support strategic tax projects including tax research and analysis, preparation of materials for executive communications. 
  • Identify and implement automation tools/functionality and process improvements, in partnership with Finance and IT. 
  • Collaborate with business partners in Finance, Legal, IT, and Business Operations.

Qualifications 

  • 7+ years of substantive tax experience with a primary emphasis in tax provision and compliance. 
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced and high-growth environments with rapidly shifting priorities. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to quickly integrate and build trust with key business partners and external service providers. 
  • Self-starter that is creative and resourceful, and able to assume, organize and manage multiple tasks on truncated timelines with minimal guidance. 
  • LL.M. in Taxation or MST preferred. 
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau) a plus.
