The Impact of a Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition - Services & Engineering at Coupa:
You will lead the talent acquisition strategy for Coupa’s technical and post-sales delivery teams across North America and LATAM. This dual-focus role acts as a strategic partner to both the Engineering leadership and the Customer Success ecosystem, ensuring we hire the specialized talent needed to deliver a world-class customer experience. Reporting to the VP, Global Talent Acquisition, you will manage a team of specialized recruiters to drive high-performance, data-driven hiring processes.
What You'll Do:
- Strategic Business Partnership: Act as a trusted consultant adn advisor to the Chief Customer Officer, Engineering VPs, and Directors to align talent strategies with long-term workforce planning and business goals.
- Technical Sourcing & Sourcing Strategy: Develop advanced sourcing strategies for critical Customer Success roles (CSMs, Product Experts), technical roles (Software Engineers, AI/ML) and talent mapping.
- Team Leadership & Coaching: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of recruiters, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.
- Full-Cycle Technical Recruiting: Oversee the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for senior/principal engineers and R&D talent, including managing complex compensation negotiations for high-level technical talent.
- Process Improvement & Experience: Drive the end-to-end hiring process from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring a high-touch, best-in-class candidate experience.
- Data Literacy & Metrics: Utilize data-driven insights from GEM CRM and LeverATS systems to measure team performance, identify hiring trends, report on pipeline health, and inform executive decision-making.
- Operational Compliance: Ensure all recruiting processes across the Americas comply with relevant regional regulations and organizational standards.
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
- Experience: 8+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience in the software/tech industry, with specific expertise in Customer Success and Engineering roles and 5+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of Customer Success or Go-to-Market (GTM) roles combined with experience recruiting for software engineering skillsets.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to map talent strategies to business goals and influence senior executive stakeholders.
- Tools: Expertise in Applicant Tracking Systems (Gem CRM/ Lever ATS preferred) and sourcing tools like Gem CRM AI Sourcing, Linkedin etc.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to use analytics and data to drive hiring decisions and optimize time-to-fill and quality of hire.
