iHerb’s “Autoship & Save” program offers recurring delivery and discounts for loyal customers, delivering convenience, savings, and predictability to both customers and the business. In less than 2 years since its launch, the program already has growth to become a double-digit percentage of iHerb’s total orders and revenue.  The Sr Manager of Subscription Marketing will drive growth, retention, and profitability of the Autoship & Save program. This person will lead marketing strategy, campaign execution, customer lifecycle management, and cross-functional coordination to maximize adoption, engagement, and lifetime value of subscription customers.


Job Expectations: 


  • Lead development and execution of go-to-market strategies for the Autoship & Save program: acquisition of new subscribers, conversion of one-time buyers to subscribers, and retention of existing subscribers.
  • Lead overall vision of the core product offering and features, evolving the program with AI into a more intelligent service. 
  • Conduct customer surveys and gather insights from end users to improve the experience.
  • Partner cross-functionally with product, merchandising, operations, analytics, and finance to define target segments, offer structures (discounts, delivery frequency, promotions), and customer experience enhancements.
  • Define, monitor, and analyze subscription-specific KPIs: sign-up rate, churn, retention, average order value (AOV), incremental revenue, and lifetime value (LTV).
  • Identify the next wave of countries to roll out the service among the 180+ countries where iHerb does business, and partner with cross-functional teams to execute.
  • Partner with creative and content teams to craft compelling messaging, visuals, and campaigns that highlight the value of Autoship & Save (e.g., convenience, savings, consistency).
  • Coordinate A/B testing and experimentation roadmaps to improve subscription conversion and retention.
  • Stay up-to-date with subscription commerce best practices, competitive trends, and innovations to continuously evolve iHerb’s Autoship & Save experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills: listening, verbal, and written
  • Proven cross functional team leader with the ability to effectively interact and present at all levels,

including Senior Management and Executive level.

  • Must be able to motivate, develop, and direct teams from across the world
  • Highly proficient in web/digital analytics

Experience Requirements:

  • 10+ years of marketing experience, ideally in e-commerce or subscription-based models
  • Proven ability to manage customer lifecycle marketing — acquisition through retention.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with data tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau/Power BI).
  • Experience running and analyzing A/B and multivariate tests.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills; experience working cross-functionally.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, global, data-driven environment.
  • Experience with direct-to-consumer brands preferred.
  • Asana, Confluence, Jira experience preferred.

Education Requirements: 

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field preferred, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience.

The anticipated pay scale for this position can be found below, however the pay range applicable to you may vary by geographic location based on where the job is located or where you work.  The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc.  iHerb, LLC is a multi-state employer and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations.
Employees (and their families) that meet eligibility criteria as outlined in applicable plan documents are eligible to participate in our medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance programs and may enroll in our company’s 401(k) plan. Employees will also be eligible for Time Off and Paid Sick Leave pursuant to the company’s policies. Employees will enjoy paid holidays throughout the calendar year.  Eligibility requirements for these benefits will be controlled by applicable plan documents.
Hired applicant may be awarded Restrict Stock Units and receive annual bonuses pursuant to eligibility and performance criteria defined in the respective plan documents and policies.
