The Opportunity:
The Sr. Manager, Public Relations (PR) is responsible for developing and executing strategic PR initiatives that enhance the company’s reputation, increase brand visibility, and build strong relationships with media, industry influencers, and key stakeholders. This role manages media relations, crafts compelling stories, and collaborates with internal teams to align PR efforts with overall marketing and business objectives.
What you will do at VeSync:
Media Relationship Management (40%)
Establish and maintain long-term and good cooperative relationships with regional media. Communicate and interact regularly to ensure smooth information flow.
Develop press releases and media kits in a timely and accurate manner, guiding positive coverage.
Coordinate media interviews, special reports, and other activities to ensure the objective and positive presentation of the brand image.
PR Communication Planning (15%)
Plan and execute regional public relations activities (such as new product launches, press tour, etc.) to attract public attention.
Utilize diverse channels (news media, social media, offline events, etc.) to disseminate brand stories and values.
Monitor news and cultural trends to proactively create relevant stories to increase brand exposure.
Develop speeches, bylined articles to position the brand as opinion leaders in the industry.
Crisis and Reputation Management (10%)
Monitor brand-related public sentiment in the region in real-time and promptly alert potential negative events.
Respond quickly to crises, activate emergency response plans, and coordinate internal resources and communication with external media.
Ensure consistent messaging during crisis management, minimize brand reputation losses, and maintain public trust.
Industry Relationship Maintenance (10%)
Actively participate in regional industry activities to enhance the brand's influence and voice within the industry.
Maintain close communication with industry associations and partners to expand cooperation opportunities and resources.
Collect industry trends, media feedback, and public opinions to provide a basis for brand strategy optimization.
Measurement & Reporting (15%)
Monitor social media conversations, analyze performance metrics, and adjust strategies to optimize engagement, reach, and ROI.
Prepare regular reports highlighting key insights and recommendations.
Use data to optimize content and strategy.
Team Leadership & Management (10%)
Develop and maintain any needed tools, systems, and processes to collaborate with product, marketing, sales channels, to ensure regional success.
Build and lead a high-performing regional team, fostering collaboration and innovation.
Cultivate a culture of ownership, proactiveness, and result-driven performance.
Manage partnerships with external vendors, agencies, and developers as needed.
Define KPIs for the team and manage the team performance.

What you bring to the role:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
8+ years of experience in public relations, preferably in corporate or agency settings.
Proven track record in media relations and PR campaign management.
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience managing crisis communications is a plus.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Salary: Starting at $155K
