Red Bull Media House gives an editorial voice to the brand by creating authentic digital content that engages audiences through compelling subject matter and high-quality visual appeal. We seek an innovative Sr. Programming Manager for Gaming to tell our Brand’s story on digital platforms that reach & engage a target consumer base of Gaming fans. This person will take ownership of creating compelling content experiences, finding the target audience digitally, and developing a re-addressable fanbase on behalf of the brand. Working closely with the Director of Programming, this person and their team will be collectively accountable for content alignment, promotion, distribution, and defining measurable success metrics across Red Bull’s Owned and Managed platforms.

Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for multi-platform audience growth content strategy surrounding Red Bull’s slate of Gaming projects, events/shows, original video productions, gaming competitions, and editorial on our website

Build & maintain the definitive Gaming Programming content calendar across Red Bull’s Channels: YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Redbull.com

Define clear project success metrics inclusive of video views, minutes watched, website visitors

Work with cross functional teams responsible for paying into audience development: Advertising, Production, Social Content, Community, Communications, Marketing, and Insights/Analytics

Identify and lead opportunities to expand the reach of our events via streamers

Establish workflows and best practices to co-stream non-gaming and gaming Red Bull events

Collaborate with key stakeholders to define & implement the Red Bull US Sports tone of voice across all channels

Collaborate with Red Bull Global Programming leadership to define a cohesive content marketing strategy, best practices, and strong US value proposition on co-operated channels

Collaborate with Advertising to shape a cohesive Gaming-audience development paid media strategy

Be an early adopter of new media trends and practices; knowledge sharer of learnings to instill best practices for the media network team

Extract metrics-based best practices and key learnings from digital programming initiatives to inform future campaigns

Collaborate with @redbullusa social team to champion Sports programs via creative social activations

Qualifications

8+ years digital content marketing and/or Programming for a sports or media/gaming brand

Track record of marketing a global brand via social media by transforming creative ideas into successful campaigns across multiple sub-brands that drive consumer engagement, sustainable audience growth, positive brand sentiment, credibility, and innovation

Strong people-management skills that enable you to interact with a wide range of personalities/styles and establish effective relationships at all levels of the organization

Advanced decision-making skills with proven ability to drive direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams

Must provide examples of developing and executing social media content marketing strategies that grow audiences and deliver on engagement metrics

Possess a rigorous understanding of how to program video content for audiences on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok

Track record of driving adoption of new ideas and concepts, and pioneering new approaches within your team or company

Extreme attention to detail with relentlessly high standards

Innate willingness to roll up your sleeves

Agile Project Management and Kanban are a huge plus

Strong planning, project execution, and analytical competencies

Exceptional communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation

Additional Information

This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.

The base salary range for this position is $115,280 - $172,920 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
