Job Summary
McKesson has an opening for a Senior Manager Process Optimization.
The Pharmacy Solutions team is seeking a Sr. Manager Process Optimization to play an integral role in the overall success of the team and all solutions offered to customers by the team. Reporting to the Vice President, Chief Pharmacy Officer, the role will be accountable for constant assessment of key solutions offered to Health Mart members and other key customers engaged in services offered by the department to ensure process efficiency and the development and reporting of meaningful KPIs.
A resource for the entire team, the role will mentor other members of the team to develop needed skills and adherence to team standards. The role is also responsible for serving as a chairperson for McKesson Amplify, requiring interactions at all levels of the SCS organization, finance, and accounting and with nationwide state pharmacy association executives who require follow-up and other guidance. The position will also support other high-level solutions as defined by the Office of Health Mart leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as operational lead for McKesson Amplify design of intake process and execution and refinement of compliant SOP working directly with key internal stakeholders. Execute SOP and other processes to ensure proper and compliant approval of submitted funding applications and timely fund dispersals.
Collaborate with the entire pharmacy solutions team, and other applicable cross-functional business units to actively design and refine processes to ensure the efficient delivery of all pharmacy solutions offered to Health Mart members, other independent community pharmacies and other locations that engage with additional services.
Leverage process and technical skills experience to serve as a key resource and team skills and overall team structure change management processes.
Develop, maintain, and update meaningful KPIs in collaboration with teams to provide relevant value messages.
Serve on governance committee and other organizations to leverage expertise.
Education & Minimum Requirements
4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.
Critical Skills
7+ years or equivalent business experience driving complex and high value solutions.
7+ years or equivalent experience to include KPI development, cross-functional leadership and influence and evidence-based decision making.
Extensive knowledge of project, program, and quality standards and practices.
Experience in process design, implementation and adaptation based upon the needs of stakeholders.
Knowledge of pharmacy legal and regulatory constraints.
Skilled in collecting business requirements, applying established criteria and processes to develop streamlined processes.
Highly proficient in Smartsheet, MS Excel and office applications.
Additional Skills
Experienced in problem solving, conflict resolution and navigating complex situations with multiple stakeholders, including c- suite executives.
Strong team collaboration and decision-making skills.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Strong presentation development skills
Working knowledge of pharmacy franchise requirements preferred.
Independent Community pharmacy knowledge preferred.
Ability to travel.
Working Conditions
Able to travel domestically 10% of the time.
Hybrid work environment – Ideal location is the Irving, TX area.
