About the Team You’ll Support

The Worldwide Distribution & Networks group, part of the Sony Pictures Television (SPT) division is responsible for distributing Sony Pictures’ feature films and TV content across global platforms in the Home Entertainment and Television space. This includes both current releases and our expansive library of iconic titles. The group also oversees the studio’s International Networks business, including owned and operated networks across Latin America and Iberia, bringing SPE content to millions of viewers across these key regions.

With entertainment consumption changing faster than ever, this team is embracing innovation and rethinking how they deliver content to audiences worldwide. As their HR Business Partner, you’ll be right there with them, helping navigate transformation, fuel high-performance teams, and lead through change.

Your Impact

As a Senior Manager, P&O Business Partner supporting senior leaders across the Distribution & Networks organization, you’ll report to the VP, P&O Business Partner and serve as a trusted advisor and strategist. You’ll translate business needs into impactful people solutions that are scalable, innovative, and built for a global audience.

Whether it's org design, change management, talent planning, or leadership coaching, you’ll play a critical role in shaping strategic people initiatives that influence both business direction and company culture.

Key Responsibilities

Align HR Strategy to Business Strategy

  • Lead organizational design efforts that drive agility and efficiency (e.g., restructures, integrations, role evolution)
  • Use data and insights to inform strategy and measure progress against goals
  • Execute thoughtful change management plans that support transformation and long-term success
  • Develop communication strategies that keep employees informed, engaged, and connected to the culture
Develop the Next Generation of Leaders
  • Support the full talent lifecycle—forecasting, hiring, onboarding, development, performance, and succession
  • Understand and align with SPE’s key capabilities, critical roles, and core competencies
  • Collaborate with Talent Planning to identify and support pivotal talent segments
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and feedback to accelerate leadership growth
Relationship & Operations Management
  • Act as a thought partner to senior leaders on strategic and operational people topics
  • Assist in the compensation planning process, ensuring alignment with internal equity and market trends
  • Coach leaders on inclusion, engagement, communication, and development strategies
  • Track employee sentiment and develop data-informed approaches to improve team culture and performance
  • Collaborate with P&O Centers of Excellence (e.g., L&D, Comp & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, D&I) to deliver seamless, integrated solutions
  • Provide support in performance management, employee relations, and career development
  • Foster innovation and morale by helping teams strengthen relationships and boost productivity
AI Support + Tech Enablement
  • Act as an advisor to business leaders on AI technology adoption and integration
  • Support change management initiatives related to AI enablement, ensuring smooth transitions and high employee engagement
Qualifications Required:
  • 5+ years of global HR generalist experience, with at least a few years as an HR Business Partner supporting senior leaders
  • Strong experience working with P&O teams across functions: Talent Acquisition, L&D, Comp & Benefits, ER, D&I, etc.
  • Proven ability to build consultative, trusted relationships with executive stakeholders
  • Skilled at influencing leaders and navigating complex, dynamic environments
  • Solid understanding of business operations and how HR strategies impact the bottom line
  • Knowledge of U.S. employment and labor law
  • Bachelor's degree
Preferred
  • Experience in entertainment, gaming, tech industries and/or streaming
  • Exposure to global HR practices and international team support
  • Background in joint venture or post-merger integration work

The anticipated base salary for this position is $139,000 to $160,000 This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
