Your Role: 

As the Sr. Manager of OTD, you’ll be working with some of the industry’s brightest minds to establish sales planning processes for North America. Basically, you’ll ensure that FF maintains optimal inventory levels at various stages in the supply chain to achieve customer satisfaction levels as well as mitigate inventory exposure.

Responsible for sales volume planning and operations of North American Region, consisting of:

  • Operational short-term planning, model mix prioritization, and equipment option scheduling
  • Operational project volume planning including bespoke edition builds
  • Strategic long-term planning and forecasting
  • Global and regional volume allocation and specification alignment
  • Production, retail volume management
  • Maintain regional allocation plan for FF globally
  • Sales volume planning and adjustments for existing production and volume plans
  • Market/sales intelligence
  • Preparation, evaluation, and alignment of all required reporting and presentation material
  • Preparation of production request for monthly sales report
  • Assist in delivery process establishment, from order planning and delivery to end user full loop monitoring and process optimization.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Production, National Sales Company, or equivalent work experience
  • Short term and long-term planning based on volume forecasts and product/projects.
  • 10+ years’ experience providing Sales Planning and accurate monthly forecasts to be used in all company communications.
  • Ability to chair weekly Business Performance Meetings, agree forecasts, log all comments and actions for further review.
  • Track weekly forecast accuracy and build, to be discussed in the Business Update Meeting and with the commercial team.
  • Understanding of sales and volume planning theories
  • Ability to quickly grasp the “big picture” of a problem
  • Working experience in a sales environment
  • Experienced in developing strong, positive working relations
  • Act as first point of contact for P&A to determine optimal flow for upcoming events and business initiatives
  • Advanced Microsoft Suite experience (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and self-motivational skills
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams advising all levels of management within key distribution departments (production, finance, sales, business affairs, product fulfillment)
  • Experience supporting the preparation of weekly forecasting data to provide visibility of bookings from customers. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous automotive experience is strongly preferred.
  • A diverse skillset including strong analytical and mathematical skills, logic aptitude and familiarity with statistical modeling and statistical concepts.
  • Creative curiosity, collaborative ethics, hardworking enthusiasm, and driving personal vision.
  • Excellent communication skills and team-work tendencies
  • A penchant for multi-tasking and self-starting
  • A genuine fascination for the electric vehicle field and a commitment to global change
  • A true sense of determination… and hopefully a sense of humor
  • Strong data mining, data analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Annual Salary Range:

($145,000 - $170,000 DOE), plus benefits and incentive plans
