Own and scale full-funnel growth marketing for a telehealth brand. About the role:

We're looking for a Sr. Manager or Director, Growth Marketing to own and scale full-funnel growth strategy across Patiently, our new telehealth brand helping people access FSA-eligible weight loss and wellness care. This is a high-impact individual contributor role where you'll be hands-on in the channels, close to the data, and directly tied to revenue outcomes.

You'll lead paid media execution and website optimization while partnering cross-functionally with marketing, product, and business owners to drive new customer acquisition and expansion. As an early and critical hire on the Patiently team, you'll have real ownership over how we grow this business from the ground up.

Final title and level (Sr. Manager vs. Director) will be determined based on the candidate's experience, scope of past ownership, and demonstrated impact — see leveling guidance below.

Key responsibilities:
  • Serve as the first growth hire on the Patiently telehealth team — setting the foundation for how we acquire, convert, and retain customers across a brand being built in real time
  • Own paid acquisition strategy and hands-on execution across Meta and Google, from campaign architecture through daily optimization
  • Drive conversion rate optimization across the full funnel, from ad click to purchase
  • Build and maintain reporting frameworks across all paid channels, translating performance data into clear, actionable insights for leadership
  • Lead the site experimentation roadmap, including hypothesis generation, test design, result interpretation, and scaling what works
  • Develop growth marketing plans that ladder up to revenue objectives and broader organizational goals
  • Track and report on conversion metrics, channel efficiency, and to inform budget and strategy decisions
What you'll need:
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in performance marketing, digital media, or growth
  • Deep hands-on expertise across on Paid Search and Paid Social
  • Fluency in performance marketing fundamentals — LTV:CAC efficiency, attribution — and the ability to apply them in day-to-day execution
  • Comfort with ambiguity, whether that's shifting business objectives, new product launches, or evolving KPIs
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience with Google Analytics and Excel, and the ability to translate data into decisions rather than just reports
  • Experience with CRO, landing page and funnel optimization
  • Clear communicator who can present complex performance data to non-technical stakeholders without losing the "so what"
  • Self-directed and highly organized, with a track record of operating effectively in fast-paced, remote environments
Note for Current Employees:

Please use the internal job board in Greenhouse to apply. Applications submitted through this external link will not be tagged as internal.

Leveling Guidance:

Both levels perform the same core responsibilities above. The distinction comes down to depth of experience, scope of prior ownership, and readiness to operate with full autonomy in an ambiguous, early-stage environment.

Sr. Manager, Growth Marketing

  • Minimum of 5–7 years of performance marketing/growth experience, with hands-on ownership of mid-size paid media budgets
  • Executes growth strategy effectively but typically with some guidance in highly ambiguous or 0-1 situations
  • Partners well cross-functionally with peers in marketing and product

Director, Growth Marketing

  • 7+ years of performance marketing/growth experience, including end-to-end ownership of larger, multi-channel budgets
  • Has independently built a growth strategy or function from scratch (0-1 experience) with minimal guidance
  • Track record influencing senior stakeholders/leadership on strategy and budget decisions, and may have informally mentored or set direction for other growth hires

Compensation, Benefits, & Additional Details:

At Health-E Commerce, our goal is to provide an offer that supports growth potential within the role and allows for future salary progression.  Final compensation is evaluated on various factors which include but aren’t limited to experience, skills, internal equity among peers, and geographic location.

Sr. Manager, Growth Marketing

  • Base Compensation: $115,000–$135,000
  • Discretionary Annual Bonus Eligibility: Up to 15%

Director, Growth Marketing

  • Base Compensation: $120,000–$150,000
  • Discretionary Annual Bonus Eligibility: Up to 20%
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K with a company match
  • Dependent Care, FSA & HSA accounts
  • Paid Parental & Bonding Leave
  • Flexible PTO & office closure on all major holidays
  • Monthly wellness & internet reimbursements
  • Professional development including certification support & leadership coaching
  • Mental Health resources
  • 100% remote within the United States
  • Must be able to work EST hours

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
