The role:

We are seeking a skilled Strategic Analytics Manager to join our team, focused on driving strategic insights to drive decision-making across our Home Lending business unit. This role will involve leveraging data to optimize business performance, enhance customer engagement, and support the overall goals of our organization as we grow our sales distribution and scale.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Science & Analysis: Lead the collection, analysis, and interpretation of sales data to inform strategic decisions. Utilize advanced analytics techniques to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Performance Monitoring: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of sales initiatives. Program and monitor regular reports and dashboards to senior management on performance metrics and insights.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across Marketing, Technology, Finance, Risk, and Compliance to ensure alignment of business objectives and the implementation of data-driven strategies. Facilitate communication between departments to enhance workflow and efficiency.
  • Strategic Insights Development: Contribute to the development of business strategies by providing actionable insights from data analyses. Drive critical business pivots to align with objectives focused on helping members get their money right and confidently navigate one of the largest financial transactions of their life.
  • Revenue Maximization: Drive top-line growth through optimization of pricing strategies, marketing approaches, and sales practices.
  • Drive Efficiency: Build forecasting and capacity models to ensure profitability during high growth phase and optimize expenses during standard seasonality and prolonged higher-rate business cycles.
  • Drive lead analytics and lead generation: Partner with Data Science and Marketing to create enhanced model-driven lead-funnel analytics to drive improved performance.  Drive insights to create higher-performing or novel lead pools.
  • Risk Management Support: Collaborate with risk management teams to develop analytics frameworks that address and mitigate production risks. Focus on root-cause analysis to streamline processes and reduce risk issue closure times.
  • Customer Experience Improvement: Analyze customer feedback and loan officer performance metrics to drive improvements in customer satisfaction (NPS) while optimizing cost efficiencies in loan origination processes.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related field; Master's degree or higher preferred.
  • Proven experience in business intelligence, analytics, or a related field, preferably in a financial services environment, with at least 7-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Exception analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools and statistical analysis software.  Should be able to build models and analytical tools, and program data visualization dashboards.  
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders as well as executive leadership up to the business unit lead and Borrow leadership.
  • Experience in project management and cross-functional team leadership, with at least 5-7 years of people management or leadership experience.
  • Significant experience with manipulating data and advanced data analysis.  Experience with SAS/SQL to manipulate data into easily digestible actionable insights. 
  • Significant experience in data visualization and business intelligence, i.e., Tableau

Nice to have:

  • Experience leading sales and business analytics in Home Lending.
  • Experience using analytics to enhance lead generation and sales effectiveness.
  • Well versed on the relationships between a digital point of sale system, pricing engine, loan origination system, and customer relationship management systems in creating a sales ecosystem focused on sales effectiveness and efficiency.

The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
