About You:
  • A results-driven FP&A leader with a proven track record of translating financial data into actionable insights that drive business performance and strategic decision-making.
  • Strong ability to manage and deliver on key financial initiatives, not just through planning but also through execution and follow-through.
  • Excellent communicator, able to simplify complex financial concepts for diverse stakeholders and ensure alignment across departments.

What you'll do:
  • Own the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning process, ensuring seamless execution aligned with company goals. Deliver plans that are actionable and drive performance improvements.
  • Conduct in-depth monthly financial variance analysis, identifying key drivers of performance, proactively highlighting risks and opportunities, and translating these insights into tactical recommendations for leadership.
  • Establish and manage a centralized financial reporting hub that provides real-time, actionable financial insights. Empower department leaders with self-service tools and enable informed decision-making across the business.
  • Partner with sales and client finance teams to not only evaluate deal pipelines but also to forecast revenue, optimize sales performance, and uncover opportunities for improvement that align with the broader financial strategy.
  • Work closely with HR and department leaders to forecast labor needs, analyze payroll trends, and optimize workforce planning. Ensure payroll expenses align with organizational objectives and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop sophisticated, scalable financial models that support M&A activity, long-term strategic planning, and investment decisions. Lead scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess business outcomes.
  • Lead the automation of financial planning and reporting workflows, integrating data from systems like CRM, ERP, and HRIS. Focus on improving accuracy, reducing manual effort, and enhancing the speed of decision-making.
  • Provide high-level support to the VP of Finance and senior leadership, preparing board materials, investor presentations, and conducting high-impact strategic analyses to guide company direction and decision-making.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment between finance, sales, HR, and operations teams, ensuring financial goals are understood and prioritized, and acting as the bridge between strategic vision and execution.
What you’ll need:
  • A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Finance, Data Science, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM, ERP, and BI tools (HubSpot, Workday, Domo, etc.) with hands-on experience with Adaptive Planning or similar EPM software.
  • At least 5-7 years of FP&A experience, preferably in professional services, with exposure to M&A, corporate development, or investment banking being highly desirable.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and deep understanding of accounting principles and industry-specific procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to tackle complex financial challenges, providing clear, actionable recommendations based on detailed analysis.
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills for complex financial analysis, reporting, and presentation creation.
  • Proven ability to execute financial plans effectively, ensuring initiatives are implemented on time and with measurable results.
