LOCATION: Remote, US (occasional travel to LA)

REPORTS TO: Director of Finance

The Role

Sunbit is seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Sr. Manager, Corporate Finance to lead critical financial planning and reporting functions. You’ll play a key role in owning the consolidated corporate model, enhancing financial rigor, and supporting business leaders in making data informed decisions that drive growth and operational excellence. 

This high-impact, high-visibility role is at the core of our growing FP&A team, ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about building best in class processes from the ground up. 

This position reports into the Director of Finance, and will primarily work remotely, but will be required to travel to the LA headquarters as necessary.


Requirements

What You'll Own:

  • Corporate Forecasting: Lead the monthly and quarterly financial consolidation across business units. Maintain a dynamic, driver-based corporate model and conduct scenario planning to inform strategic decisions.
  • Planning and Execution: Oversee annual budgeting and long-range planning, ensuring alignment with company strategy. Refine planning cycles and ensure accuracy of inputs and clarity of outputs. 
  • Executive Reporting: Develop Board materials, investor updates, and internal performance dashboards that combine precision with narrative insight.
  • Business Partnering: Serve as the strategic finance partner to G&A and Technology teams, managing headcount planning, vendor forecasting, and capital efficiency.
  • Systems & Tools: Drive adoption of financial tools and automation to improve FP&A workflows and data accuracy.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and develop junior finance team members, with a growth path toward expanded scope and team ownership.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. MBA or CPA is preferred.
  • Have 6–8 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or investment banking.
  • Have built, led, or owned a corporate FP&A function in a high-growth environment, ideally in fintech or banking.
  • Deep understanding of balance sheet lending and consumer credit dynamics.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights at all levels.
  • Exceptional financial modeling and data analysis skills (e.g., Excel, financial planning software).
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence.
