Job Description:

Disney Entertainment Television and DTC (Disney+, Hulu, Disney Kids & Family, ABC Entertainment, National Geographic, Onyx Collective, Freeform, Disney Television Studios) is seeking a Senior Manager, Brand Partnerships & Experiential to lead the development and execution of high-impact consumer marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for a pop culture enthusiast and highly organized project leader who excels at managing complex campaigns, multiple stakeholders, and tight timelines.

Reporting to the Vice President, Brand Partnerships & Experiential, the Senior Manager will partner closely with internal teams, external brands, and agencies to deliver culturally resonant marketing partnerships, experiential activations, and consumer events that drive brand awareness and audience tune-in for priority television and streaming series. This role blends creative thinking with operational rigor and requires a proactive, detail-oriented approach in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate strikes a strong balance between creative sensibility, strategic narrative development, and flawless project management. Responsibilities:

As the Senior Manager, Brand Partnerships & Experiential, you will lead the development and be fully hands-on for the execution of brand partnerships, experiential activations, and consumer events from concept through completion, managing multiple projects simultaneously. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful delivery and production of culturally relevant ideas that align with brand strategy and drive audience awareness and tune-in. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, creativity, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders at all levels. This role matters in the company as it directly impacts brand visibility and consumer engagement, requiring skills in strategic thinking, planning, and collaboration.

  • Lead the development and execution of brand partnerships, experiential activations, and consumer events from concept through completion, managing multiple high-profile projects simultaneously

  • Identify, pitch, negotiate, and secure strategic brand partners by developing compelling narratives, leading partner outreach and meetings, and building long-term relationships that drive innovative, culturally relevant promotional opportunities

  • Manage agencies, vendors, and partners through RFPs, creative development, and execution, ensuring strong ROI, operational excellence, and alignment with brand priorities

  • Own project timelines, budgets, deliverables, contracts, and SOW processes, proactively identifying risks and implementing solutions to ensure seamless execution

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners, representing the Brand Partnerships & Experiential team in high-profile meetings, presentations, and business development opportunities

  • Develop and deliver strategic presentations, status updates, partnership proposals, and post-campaign recaps for senior leadership, clients, and cross-functional teams

  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, creativity, and excellence

  • Build and maintain relationships across the entertainment, media, agency, and brand partner landscape to identify new opportunities, industry trends, and culturally relevant marketing solutions

  • Drive projects independently from concept to execution, anticipating needs, overcoming challenges, and consistently delivering high-quality work with minimal direction

  • Champion innovative, culturally relevant ideas and serve as a vocal contributor in cross-functional discussions to advance business objectives, audience engagement, and brand awareness

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in entertainment, media, or a related industry with a focus on brand partnerships, experiential marketing, events, and 360 integrated campaigns

  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful strategic partnerships, combining creative thinking, compelling storytelling, strong negotiation skills, and operational excellence to deliver business results

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with experience inspiring and influencing senior executives, internal stakeholders, external partners, agencies, producers, and talent

  • Demonstrated success securing and managing brand partnerships, including developing persuasive pitches, partnership opportunities, and marketing programs that drive awareness and engagement

  • Strong people leadership and management experience, including developing and mentoring team members, setting clear expectations and fostering a high-performance culture while leading cross-functional teams and stakeholders through influence

  • Highly proactive, self-motivated, and solutions-oriented, with a track record of independently managing multiple priorities, anticipating challenges, and delivering high-quality work in fast-paced environments

  • Experience representing an organization in partner-facing, networking, and business development settings, with the ability to build and maintain strategic relationships

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), Keynote, and Canva

  • Ability and willingness to travel and work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the business

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Brand-side experience within experiential marketing and/or marketing partnerships

  • Strong creative instincts paired with sound business judgment and confident decision making

  • Passion for pop culture, television, and entertainment marketing

  • Established network of contacts across entertainment, media, agency, consumer brand, and experiential marketing communities

  • Experience securing high-profile promotional partnerships that drive cultural relevance, earned media, and consumer engagement

  • Demonstrated success operating as a visible representative of a team or organization in executive, client, and industry-facing settings

  • Positive, solutions-oriented mindset with a hands-on approach and willingness to support all aspects of execution

  • Experience working with vendors, executive stakeholders, and diverse communities

  • Demonstrated understanding of inclusive marketing strategies and audience centered best practices

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $126,800 to $170,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
