A digitally and technologically savvy professional, the Senior Manager of Audience Insights will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the media network by providing actionable insights that shape programming strategy, optimize platform publishing, and deliver critical audience and project insights. This position is essential in defining how the network generates and utilizes deep insights to drive KPI growth while guiding stakeholders on user engagement and content consumption patterns.

The role requires a candidate capable of clearly defining and communicating high-level reporting through a robust understanding of digital media measurement. Key responsibilities include balancing priorities across various areas such as project and content pitches, goal projection and KPI estimation, media performance measurement, and audience optimization. The Senior Manager will utilize proprietary and syndicated analytic tools to deliver insights that are instrumental for creating campaign briefs, greenlighting content, assessing media performance, and refining audience strategies.

Success in this role will depend on fostering strong collaborations with cross-functional teams and the Red Bull Insights and Analytics community. By doing so, the individual will ensure the delivery of actionable insights and reports that support content optimization, enhance relevance, and contribute directly to achieving Red Bull's KPIs.

Job Description

MAJOR ACTIVITIES TO ENSURE ACHIEVEMENT OF KEY RESULTS AND DELIVERABLES

Delivering insights and providing recommendations to inform key stakeholders.

Leading the analysis of earned, managed, and owned media, including print and online publications.

Analyzing program and content performance across social and digital platforms, offering insights into industry trends and competitor strategies.

Ensuring business needs are addressed through dashboards, business intelligence (BI) tools, and data implementation.

Developing strategies to grow and expand Red Bull’s global audience.

Leveraging data from multiple sources to shape digital and social media strategies, delivering thought leadership and broader context derived from competitors and audience research.

Utilizing tools such as Looker, Sprinklr, Tubular, Facebook Analytics, YouTube Analytics, and Google Analytics, along with proprietary systems incorporating AI and machine learning, to gain deep insights into Red Bull’s content performance and global competition.

Exhibiting executive-level communication skills to translate complex analyses into key business narratives.

Applying industry knowledge to serve as the subject matter expert for all programming-driven data strategies, facilitating productive conversations with stakeholders and cross-functional partners.

Managing and mentoring team members by offering coaching, guidance, and best practices while fostering growth in their analytical skill sets.

Building and sustaining relationships with Red Bull HQ counterparts and stakeholders to ensure alignment between global and U.S. media network strategies and objectives.

KEY RESULTS AND DELIVERABLES (TARGETS)

Deliver insights, including media trends, to key stakeholders to inform the development and strategy of future projects during business planning (BP) sessions and quarterly/monthly check-ins.

Provide actionable insights for major projects at all stages of the project lifecycle: development, project kickoff, and post-launch.

Incorporate the full suite of EMO insights into deep-dive analyses of priority projects.

Introduce new analysis techniques or improve existing methodologies to better capture the business impact of our media output (e.g., social conversation, sentiment, word-of-mouth, primary content research, social contagion, virality).

Develop and enhance statistical analytics approaches that deliver commercial benefits to Red Bull’s content strategy, such as forecasting content performance to set project targets and assess content value.

Qualifications

5+ years of media analytics experience related to digital media strategy, user behavior and engagement, or programming and has ideally worked in content

Possess extensive knowledge of metrics and performance across digital, broadcast, linear, data, and emerging platforms.

A strategic leader with advanced analytical skills capable of uncovering clear narratives and generating actionable insights through data analysis and visualization.

Hands-on experience and expertise in applying SQL, R, or Python to various workflows.

Proven experience managing projects involving applied statistics, machine learning, and neural networks.

Comprehensive understanding of digital platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, YouTube), content strategies, and performance evaluation methodologies.

Proficient in utilizing BI dashboard tools such as Tableau, Looker, SAP Orca, and Google Data Studio.

Skilled in Google Analytics, YouTube Analytics, Sprinklr, social business management tools, social listening platforms, and audience measurement techniques.

Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain trust with leadership and collaborators.

Holds a Bachelor's degree or possesses equivalent professional experience.

Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is considered advantageous.

 

Additional Information

This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.

The base salary range for this position is $85,360 – $128,040 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
