If you have enterprise software roots, a product-strategy mindset, and a passion for disrupting traditional market categories, this role offers an immediate, high-impact platform to drive our next phase of growth.

Location:

Hybrid role with regular onsite workdays in our San Jose, CA office strongly preferred.  Other U.S locations may be considered.

You will make an impact by being responsible for:

  • Driving measurable business impact by influencing key industry analysts across the intelligent automation, AI, and enterprise software landscape
  • Orchestrating end-to-end execution of premier evaluation reports (e.g., Gartner Magic Quadrants, Forrester Waves, IDC MarketScapes), from strategic preparation and briefing through to results analysis and distribution
  • Collaborating with Product Marketing to develop strategic narratives and executive briefings by providing market intelligence and analyst insights that sharpen AAI’s differentiation and strengthen market positioning
  • Influencing product roadmaps and strategic planning by synthesizing analyst research, inquiry insights, and advisory sessions into actionable internal intelligence
  • Fostering deep cross-functional alliances across Product Management, Product Marketing, PR, Sales, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership to build a world-class, unified AR engine
  • Empowering the field by extracting actionable intelligence from analyst coverage to equip Sales and Enablement teams with powerful competitive collateral
  • Elevating digital market presence by monitoring, reviewing, and actively engaging in external analyst-facing social channels and communications

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced technical/business degree preferred
  • Experience: 7+ years of progressive Analyst Relations experience or relevant enterprise B2B software experience
  • Hybrid Background: A proven track record combining dedicated AR expertise with cross-disciplinary experience in fields like Product Management, Competitive Intelligence, Finance, or Product Marketing
  • Domain Familiarity: Deep understanding of the enterprise software, RPA, or AI/automation market landscape (highly preferred)

You excel in these key competencies:

  • Navigates fast-paced environments by actively challenging traditional methods and prioritizing high-impact business results
  • Balances analytical rigor with creative, outside-the-box thinking to independently solve complex market positioning and analyst challenges
  • Influences without authority, aligning cross-functional, matrixed organizations to successfully deliver critical programs and narratives

Execution & Communication

  • Drives complex project management, with a proven track record of managing and delivering multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously
  • Crafts compelling content, utilizing advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills to present complex data clearly to internal and external leadership
  • Communicates with exceptional clarity, translating technical and complex business concepts into easily digestible insights for diverse internal stakeholders and analyst audiences

Innovation & Efficiency

  • Operates with an automation-first mindset, actively leveraging AI tools to drive operational efficiencies, streamline repetitive processes, and spark fresh strategic ideation.
  • Establishes AI-driven workflows to scale program output, maximize resource efficiency, and ensure the Analyst Relations team stays ahead of industry technology trends

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
