Job Description

Fabletics is looking for a Sr. Logistics Specialist, Last Mile.

How do you fit in?

The Sr. Logistics Specialist, Last Mile, will be tasked with ensuring a Best In Class delivery experience focusing on cross-functional issue tracking, resolution, and process optimization from Order Shipping, Transportation and Invoicing. The Analyst needs to be skilled in identifying root causes within parcel carrier network operations, regional order allocation, package weight / zone / rate functionality and develop solutions where needed. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in working with Small Parcel Carrier networks and their pricing structures, E-commerce Operations, Cross-Border, Reverse Logistics, and Data Analytics.

The Sr. Logistics Specialist, Last Mile will report to Director, Logistics Operations   

What you will do:

  • Collaborate effectively with other teams

  • Understand the impact of Logistics decisions on different business functions

  • Contribute to basic cross-functional initiatives by analyzing trends and presenting insights to leadership

  • Strong understanding of 1-2 freight modes, coordinating transportation, and tracking customer orders to meet Customer Promise on-time delivery dates while ensuring carrier SLA compliance

  • Regular participation in team meetings and carrier meetings

  • Ability to lead small and basic cross-functional projects

  • Monitor and report on carrier delivery and on-time performance. Focus on continuous improvement related to speed, service consistency and cost management.

  • Provide weekly reports to leadership on Last Mile carrier network performance

  • Act as point of contact for the day-to-day parcel carrier relationships (5+ carriers)

  • Communicate unforeseen carrier rate, rule or service interruptions

  • Communicate monthly volume forecasts and reconcile any variances

  • Work with cross-functional teams (Fulfillment Centers, Retail, Global Member Services, Project/ Strategy, IT, Accounting) to identify and resolve issues.

  • Lead preparation and follow through for weekly carrier meetings and quarterly business reviews.

  • Submit Carrier claims on a weekly basis and provide reporting on cost recovery

  • Audit Parcel invoices and reconcile against contract terms and rate agreement

  • Oversee and provide direction to Logistics Specialist at our 3PL, ensuring smooth day- to-day operations

As a Senior Individual Contributor level in the organization, you are responsible for projects or processes as a key contributor to team milestones, working with a high level of independence.

What you can bring:

  • 4-6 years of experience with communication and collaboration

  • 4-6 years of experience with international and domestic small Parcel freight

  • 4-6 years of experience with rate methodology

  • Ability to coach and review work of lower-level employees

  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative discipline as Business, Economics, Supply Chain

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, strong verbal and written communications

  • 3+ years of direct experience in ecommerce retail and parcel carrier networks ( eg; Fed Ex, Regional, and Cross Border Carriers)

*Varied for retail, fulfillment and fully remote roles. 

The annual base salary range for this position is from $75,000-$125,000. The range provided includes the base salary that Fabletics expects to pay for the role. Offered base salary will be dependent on factors including the scope and complexity of the role, candidate’s related work experience, subject matter expertise and work location.
