Role Overview
We are seeking a self-starting, highly creative, and results-oriented Sr. Integrated Communications & Social Media Manager to lead our global earned media strategy. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Marketing, this individual contributor role will be instrumental in shaping the company’s narrative and ensuring it reaches our customers, partners, and employees through the right channels at the right time—whether that be traditional media, social media, podcasts, blogs, strategic partnerships, or beyond.  

The ideal candidate thrives on developing and executing innovative communications strategies, has a deep understanding of B2B influencer marketing, and possesses a proven track record of managing top-tier agency relationships. This individual will work closely with brand, creative, and marketing teams to enhance our corporate visibility, build credibility, and drive engagement. 

Key Responsibilities

  • CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS
  • Develop and execute communications strategy: Serve as strategic owner of communications strategy including corporate messaging that strengthens our brand and communicates our mission, vision, and values effectively. 
  • Own earned media strategy: Drive our approach to earned media, including traditional press, social media, podcasts, thought leadership platforms, and partnerships to maximize brand impact. 
  • Media and influencer relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists, industry analysts, and influencers to increase media coverage and share of voice in the industry. 
  • Tactical execution: Develop and manage press releases, corporate announcements, and thought leadership content in collaboration with internal subject matter experts. 
  • Content and messaging development: Own the corporate messaging framework and responsible for the development of compelling narratives, executive messaging, and thought leadership that resonates with key audiences. Support executive communications, including speeches, talking points, and internal/external presentations. 
  • Crisis and reputation management: Proactively manage corporate reputation, respond to media inquiries, and navigate potential crises with strategic messaging. 
  • SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY + EXECUTION
  • Develop and lead the company’s social media strategy, aligning with overall marketing objectives to enhance brand awareness and engagement. 
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of corporate social media accounts, including content planning, posting, monitoring, and performance analysis. 
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (growth marketing, product marketing, sales) to ensure consistent and integrated messaging across channels. 
  • Stay ahead of social media trends, tools, and best practices to continuously optimize performance and reach. 
  • Manage relationships with third-party agencies or platforms supporting social media efforts. 
  • CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION
  • Partner closely with brand, creative, and marketing teams to ensure a cohesive and impactful corporate presence. This individual is expected to bring knowledge and insight on leveraging AI tools for content creation, media monitoring, sentiment analysis, and strategic storytelling to enhance impact and efficiency in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
  • MEASUREMENT + OPTIMIZATION
  • Define KPIs and measure the performance of communications initiatives, with a focus on social media metrics, media coverage, and content engagement. 
  • Use analytics tools to report on the effectiveness of campaigns and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field. 
  • Experience working for a publicly listed or pre-IPO company.
  • 7-10 years of experience in a communications or social media role, ideally within a B2B software or technology environment. 
  • Proven experience in social media strategy development and management for a corporate brand. 
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with an ability to tailor messages to different audiences and platforms. 
  • Familiarity with analytics and AI-driven tools such as Google Analytics, social media insights, social listening platforms, and AI-powered content and sentiment analysis tools. Network both with agencies and journalists/influencers.
  • Excellent project management skills with a knack for managing multiple priorities. 
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
