One Confluent. One Team. One Data Streaming Platform.

About the Role:

Confluent is seeking a Senior Industry Global Campaigns Manager to drive integrated, full-funnel marketing campaigns across our key global verticals. This role will be instrumental in shaping how Confluent shows up in the market with compelling, industry-specific narratives that engage target audiences and drive pipeline and growth.

In this role, you will work closely with Product Marketing, Global Field Marketing, Partner Marketing, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to build campaigns that elevate Confluent’s relevance within each vertical. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented self-starter who has a passion for strategic thinking and world class execution, pipeline generation, experience in enterprise B2B, a data-driven mindset, and experience in industry marketing (bonus for financial services!).

What You Will Do:
  • Lead global, industry-focused campaign strategy and execution across key verticals — from Financial Services and Retail to Manufacturing and Healthcare — ensuring Confluent’s value proposition resonates with each audience.

  • Develop persona- and industry-specific offers and content mapped to the customer journey, aligning messaging with buyer pain points and market trends and then works backwards to understand the required field engagement, campaign, content and channel needs across all regions including localization and translation.

  • Leverage FSI marketing expertise to guide best practices across all verticals and ensure high-impact campaigns for regulated and data-driven industries.

  • Collaborate with field, partner, and digital marketing teams to activate campaigns across regions and channels — driving awareness, engagement, and conversion.

  • Manage campaign budgets, channel mix, and vendor relationships to optimize reach and ROI across all vertical programs.

  • Analyze campaign performance and pipeline impact, sharing actionable insights and optimization recommendations to improve conversion and efficiency.

  • Align closely with Sales and SDR teams to ensure consistent messaging, seamless lead follow-up, and strong integration between marketing and go-to-market execution.

  • Partner with product and industry leaders to create thought leadership content and high-visibility campaigns that reinforce Confluent’s leadership in data streaming across industries.

  • Ensure global consistency and local relevance, supporting regional teams with localization, translation, and market-specific adaptations.

What You Will Bring:
  • 6+ years experience in full funnel campaign management related to B2B marketing, campaigns marketing, industry marketing or growth marketing in a global capacity.

  • Proven expertise in Financial Services and Insurance (FSI) marketing — experience building campaigns for banking, insurance, fintech, or capital markets audiences.

  • Track record of developing successful, data-driven campaigns that drive measurable pipeline growth and accelerate deal velocity.

  • Strong understanding of industry and vertical marketing strategies, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences across multiple sectors.

  • Ability to build campaigns around a technical product that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences where relevant.

  • Ability to work with multiple data sources and translate campaign metrics into insights.

  • Experience with target account strategy and segmentation to build target lists for demand gen campaigns.

  • Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills with ability to present complex technical ideas in a simple, straightforward manner.

  • Excellent project management skills and ability to manage a high volume of competing tasks and demands for a diverse group of stakeholders. Experience with Asana is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, executing programs on time and within budget.

  • Proven ability to collaborate as part of a cross functional team and also work autonomously.

  • Sense of urgency, flawless attention to detail in execution, ability to prioritize and quickly adapt to a changing environment.

What Gives You an Edge:
  • Experience with Marketo, Salesforce, Tableau and ABM platforms (6sense) a plus

  • Industry marketing experience, with focus on Financial Services.

  • Hands-on experience working with external agencies and building & executing high visibility campaigns with a large group of stakeholders.

  • Worked with media agencies, primarily those with tech brands respected by technical personas.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
