Description

To support our team, we are seeking a professional, organized, and detail-oriented Senior HR Coordinator. In this role, you will support the day-to-day functions of Human Resources, with a strong focus on recruitment, onboarding, employee support, and HR administration.

The ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, and takes ownership of their responsibilities. They follow through on commitments, pay close attention to detail, exercise good judgment, and handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the full recruitment process, including sourcing prospective candidates, conducting initial phone screenings, coordinating and scheduling onsite interviews, and communicating with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Participate in onsite job interviews, evaluate candidate qualifications and overall fit, document interview feedback, and assist hiring managers with the candidate selection process.
  • Coordinate the new hire and onboarding process, including preparing and processing new hire paperwork, completing Form I-9 requirements, entering employee information into the HRIS, and ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately.
  • Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations and required workplace training, including Health and Safety Training and Workplace Violence Prevention Training, and maintain accurate training and attendance records.
  • Maintain accurate employee information in the HRIS and electronic and paper personnel files, process routine employee changes, and conduct periodic reviews of HR records for completeness and accuracy.
  • Respond to general employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and other employment-related matters.
  • Support managers with routine HR matters and assist with the consistent application and administration of company policies, procedures, and HR practices.
  • Provide support with employee relations matters, including responding to routine employee concerns, gathering relevant information and documentation, and escalating more complex or sensitive matters to HR leadership.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of employee information and sensitive HR matters.
  • Assist employees and applicants with completing gaming work permit applications, review applications for completeness and accuracy, schedule required appointments with the Division of Gaming Control, and track applications through completion.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Two or more years of Human Resources experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Schedule and Work Location: 

This is a full-time and in-office position, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. 

Compensation and Benefits: 

The pay scale for this position is: $76,000 - $84,000 annually. Compensation is based on experience. Employee benefits are available for all qualifying full-time employees, including vacation, medical, vision, dental, and life insurance. In addition, employees receive a 20% discount on food, non-alcoholic beverages, and Casino M8trix merchandise.
