As part of the broader Business & People Partner team, you will collaborate with peers aligned to executive organizations to ensure consistency, scalability, and alignment across HR programs. You will use data insights, diagnostic tools, and a deep understanding of organizational dynamics to anticipate needs, solve complex issues, and enable leaders to build high-performing and engaged teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic HR partner to senior executive leaders
  • Partner closely with business leaders to design and execute people strategies aligned to global priorities and business objectives.
  • Leverage deep business understanding and data-driven insights to translate organizational needs into talent, engagement, and workforce strategies that drive results.
  • Lead the Enterprise-wide and business talent agenda, including talent assessment, succession planning, leadership development, performance management, and reward program delivery for a global workforce.
  • Collaborate across the People Experience ecosystem, including COEs and regional partners, to deliver fit-for-purpose, scalable solutions.
  • Drive and facilitate change management initiatives, with a focus on culture, inclusion, leadership capability, and employee engagement.
  • Coach and develop leaders and managers to strengthen leadership effectiveness and organizational health.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with relevant certification preferred
  • 8–10+ years of progressive Human Resources or related experience
  • Demonstrated success leading global people strategies and driving process improvement in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Proven experience leading organizational transformation and change initiatives.
  • Strong track record of influencing and partnering with senior leaders across multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to persuade, influence, and build alignment at all levels.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to connect people strategies to business outcomes.
  • Goal-oriented, proactive, and accountable, with a passion for driving meaningful results.
  • Agile, resilient, and comfortable operating in ambiguity and fast-changing environments.

Key Attributes for Success

  • Global mindset with curiosity and respect for cultural differences; global HR experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong experience working within a Center of Excellence (COE) HR model, identifying and deploying high-impact solutions.
  • Data fluency, with the ability to consult using insights that inform effective decision-making.
  • Exceptional judgment, diplomacy, and influence, including the ability to navigate strongly held perspectives.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
