Sr. HR Generalist
Job Description Summary
The Senior Generalist, People Partner will support the Micron account within the GOS Organization by delivering strategic and operational HR support aligned with business objectives. This role partners closely with field leadership and centers of expertise to drive HR initiatives, ensure compliance, and support employee lifecycle activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted HR Business Partner to field leadership, providing guidance on staffing, compensation, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance.
- Interpret and communicate HR policies, procedures, and employment laws to managers and employees.
- Manage HR tasks, programs, and projects to support field teams effectively.
- Provide coaching and leadership to HR staff, where applicable.
- Collaborate with centers of expertise on payroll, benefits, compliance, and national HR initiatives.
- Support employee transitions related to service contracts, mergers, and acquisitions, including participation in RFP and due diligence processes.
- Conduct employee relations counseling, investigations, and grievance handling under senior HR guidance.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and monitor EEO practices in the assigned geography.
- Assist with onboarding, position management, HR communications, and workforce updates.
- Maintain advanced knowledge of HR systems, including Workday and Fieldglass.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of progressive HR experience or equivalent education/experience.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to lead, influence, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated experience supporting field or remote teams.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems (Workday) and vendor management tools (Fieldglass) preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 25% (primarily to Boise, ID).
- PHR/SPHR certification or pursuit strongly preferred.

- Proficient in standard office work, including computer use and prolonged sitting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00
