ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Sr. Global Optics Process Engineer to join our SYLUX development team, work based in Goleta, California. The Sr. Global Optics Process Engineer candidate will lead the development of optical test and calibration systems for high volume manufacturing of infrared imaging cameras for ADAS applications.
Major responsibilities:
Develop optical test equipment and burn-in requirements supporting RFQ’s and supplier technical evaluations. Architect, develop and deploy globally, standardized optical test and calibration system software. Global process ownership.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 20+ years experience in Test Engineering and Optics for ADAS cameras
- BS/MS in EE, Physics and/or Systems Engineering.
- Proven track record developing high volume, intrinsic calibration, active alignment and end-of-line functional test equipment hardware and software.
- Expertise developing optical test and environmental test software, including MTF, intrinsic calibration and dynamic monitoring of camera performance during environmental stress tests.
- Experience improving manufacturing yields, cycle times and process capabilities.
- Understanding of ADAS camera performance metrics, infrared camera experience a plus.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Effective working in a global team environment.
