Baseline wastewater requirements (regulatory, customer, investor, reporting, and other requirements), and continued sensing via permit reviews, regular meetings with sites, external engagements, regulation tracking tools, etc. Collaborate with site EHS teams to review permits, respond to regulatory comments, and engage with external stakeholders as needed. Facilitate technical workshops and best practice sharing forums to promote global alignment and continuous improvement. Engage with external consortia (e.g., SEMI, SIA, GWI, AWS,
etc.) to help shape industry standards and frameworks. Propose measurable goals and performance indicators for site teams to ensure adherence to global environmental programs. Identify where needed, build, and optimize wastewater programs, sub-programs, and projects that are scalable across geographies and adaptable to site-specific needs. Recommend new or revised policies, procedures, methodologies to support environmental goals. Support permitting activities for site expansion, new construction, and technology transfers. Establishing the long- and short-range objectives for the global wastewater program, specifying the strategies and actions to achieve them, in alignment with regulatory trends, business priorities, and sustainability goals. Lead and coordinate successful delivery of interdependent, complex technology projects related to wastewater at the global level, including program planning, strategy,
governance, coordination and integration. Continuously evaluate program effectiveness and revise strategy based on emerging risks, regulatory changes, and operational feedback. Provide tactical troubleshooting and technical support to site teams to help them meet program goals and maintain compliance. Provide leadership updates and strategic briefings on wastewater program status, risks, and opportunities when required. Conduct technical studies on topics such as pollutants, treatment options, and technology readiness. Perform water quality modeling as needed. Identify and characterize specific causes or sources of a pollutant/ water parameter.
Employer will accept a Bachelor's in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field followed by at least 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in an engineering-related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in an engineering-related occupation.
Position requires:
1. Experience in developing strategies to meet applicable environmental requirements (Regulatory, customer related, investor related, signed contracts, voluntary).
2. Semiconductor Industry experience
3. Risk Identification
4. Ability to communicate global programs and deploy to a multi-cultural audience.
5. Proficiency in technical analysis and communication- Data analysis and statistical skills, technical writing, data visualization, automation.
