Senior Global Demand Planner (New Milani Group, LLC; Vernon, California):

  • Support company inventory turns objectives through accurate maintenance of demand forecasts.
  • Lead monthly S&OP Consensus forecasting processes, integrating independent demand planning projections with those external forecasts of key accounts and internal Sales and Finance views, as well as retailer inventory and retailer in-stock trends.
  • Drive the S&OP monthly cycle with cross-functional team that provides data, analysis and enables business decisions relative to improving UFR and inventory efficiency. Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Project Management, Product Development, and Packaging Development as required to drive assigned demand planning and analysis activities.
  • Develop and refine statistical forecasting models, incorporating historical sales data, market trends, promotional calendars, and new product launches using our Netstock Suite Software for Shipments and POS. 
  • Focused on POS-centric forecasting methods for key Core product families.
  • Lead monthly consensus meetings with Sales and Marketing to review 12–18-month demand forecast.
  • Analyze point-of-sale (POS) data and other market intelligence to identify opportunities and risks to support companies Surge/Maintain/Purge strategy for new launches.
  • Work with Sales and Finance teams to develop Shipment and POS annual budget forecasts.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) related to forecast accuracy (MAPE and BIAS), inventory levels, and service performance.
  • Maintain the monthly Excess and Obsolete inventory list to support off-price sales initiatives.
  • Maintain current and future POG assortment by key accounts to assist the Planning team with inventory management of expanding or discontinuing SKU’s.
  • Work with International Markets to set target inventory levels, based on the region’s forecasts, at various 3PL locations.
  • Support inventory reduction initiatives and the SKU rationalization process.
  • Assist with Master Data set-up and maintenance as required across Milani’s various data systems.
  • Support ad-hoc analysis for Senior Management as requested.

Requirements

Education Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Supply Chain Management or related quantitative field.

Must have skills with the following:

  • preparing information for Executive S&OP decks; core and end-to-end supply chain processes; managing demand, inventory, and supply KPIs; MS Excel (lookups, indexing, arrays, and pivot tables); demand planning software and ERP systems (Netstock, SAGE, SAP, Oracle, and JDA/Blue Yonder); cloud-based data warehouse systems (Catalyst); Kanban-based supply chain systems (Amazon); and analyzing and managing large data sets.
  • Skills may be gained through academic coursework and concurrently while pursuing academic studies.

Compensation:

The base salary range represents the low and high end of Milani’s salary range for this position. Salaries will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to location, education, skills, and experience. The base salary range for this role is $90,000.00-100,000.00.
