Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives and feature teams responsible for the development of new capabilities in Android, iOS, and web apps
  • Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements, including user stories and acceptance test criteria
  • Collaborate with prospective users and clients to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements
  • Fly drones to test our latest features
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development, including technical challenges, dependencies, and external factors
  • Work with product leads to prioritize backlog, considering product roadmap, customer feedback, and project dependencies
  • Inform leadership on product vision, schedule, strategy, features, and prioritization of work
  • Communicate with team members, stakeholders, and all levels of management
  • Provide insight and subject matter expertise on products, features, and development initiatives
  • Seek and improve processes across the development team
  • Support global product launches and release activities

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with ArcGIS software or other geospatial technology
  • Experience implementing and configuring ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise
  • Proven ability to lead small to medium groups to deliver on business objectives with the power to inspire teamwork and motivate project teams
  • Customer-focused mindset for delivering a product that provides a great customer experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage product backlogs and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience assessing and prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Strong verbal communication and written documentation skills so that complex information can be presented in a clear and simple format 
  • Passion and ability to deliver quality work in a timely and efficient manner, in teams or individually
  • Bachelor's in GIS, computer science, or a related field

Recommended Qualifications

  • Experience configuring and deploying Esri’s Field Apps
  • Proven UAS/UAV/Drone piloting experience creating repeatable flight plans that capture high-quality and accurate imagery
  • Proven ability to define, manage, and deliver geospatial solutions
  • Prior experience with implementing software solutions and release of commercial software products
  • FAA Remote Pilot Certificate (Part 107) or ability and desire to obtain certification as part of this role

Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is
$92,144$153,920 USD
