About the Project

Our client is a healthcare technology company seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join their development team on a nearshore basis.

The team primarily develops using PHP and Laravel, but prior Laravel experience is not required. Candidates with strong object-oriented programming fundamentals and experience building scalable web applications are encouraged to apply. This is a remote opportunity for professionals based in LATAM who can work during Central or Pacific Time Zone business hours.


RequirementsResponsabilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications.
  • Build clean, maintainable, and reusable code following object-oriented programming principles.
  • Collaborate with a distributed engineering team in an Agile environment.
  • Contribute to both backend and frontend development across the application stack.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
  • Learn and work with PHP/Laravel as part of the existing technology stack when needed.
  • Continuously improve code quality, performance, and maintainability.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of full-stack software development experience.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and software design.
  • Experience building and maintaining modern web applications.
  • Advanced English communication skills (client-facing role).
  • Availability to work during Central or Pacific Time Zone business hours.
  • Availability for a 4–6 month contract.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with PHP (Laravel is a strong plus, but not required).
  • Strong Python development experience.
  • Strong Node.js development experience.
  • Experience working in Agile software development environments.
  • Willingness to learn and work with Laravel if coming from another object-oriented framework.
