As a Sr. Full Stack Developer, you will play a pivotal role in transforming today's manufacturing landscape through the
design and implementation of advanced automation and software solutions. You will work closely with a dynamic team of
developers, including full stack, software, IoT, and data science experts, as well as technical product leads, to ensure the
efficient and effective development of IoT software applications.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications for Industrial IoT
devices and systems, ensuring adherence to IoT-specific coding standards, protocols, and security guidelines. You will
collaborate with technical product leads to develop and operate IoT products, conduct regular code reviews to ensure code
quality, maintainability, and scalability, and provide constructive feedback to team members to improve their programming
skills. Additionally, you will provide guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the successful completion of IoT projects,
identify and resolve technical issues and bugs specific to IoT applications, and create and maintain technical documentation specific to IoT applications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications for IoT devices and systems, ensuring adherence to IoT-specific coding standards, protocols, and security guidelines
  • Collaborate with technical product leads to develop and operate IoT products
  • Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability for IoT applications
  • Provide constructive feedback to team members to improve their programming skills
  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the successful completion of IoT projects
  • Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs specific to IoT applications in a timely manner. Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
  • Create and maintain technical documentation specific to IoT applications, including IoT architecture, protocols, and security measures
  • Implement and manage DevOps practices to streamline the development, deployment, and operation of IoT applications, ensuring continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines are in place and functioning effectively.
  • Participate in the full software development cycle, including gathering requirements, meeting with stakeholders, developing, testing, and operating software solutions to ensure they meet business needs and quality standards.
  • Build and monitor products using observability tools for logging and monitoring to ensure the reliability and performance of IoT applications.


QUALIFICATIONS
Education - Required: Bachelor's Degree in in Computer Science or related field of study
Education - Preferred: Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field of study
Years of Experience: Minimum eight years of related experience required
Other Skills/Experience -
Required:

  • Broad technology experience across multiple areas: Azure & AWS cloud architecture, application development, analytics, networking, security, storage, DevOps, containers, etc. in IoT environments, preferably in automotive
  • Experience with multiple object-oriented programming languages: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C++, Java, Rust
  • Experience in relational and non-relational data storage
  • Experience architecting/designing solutions built on Azure & AWS cloud
  • Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes), configuration, and life-cycle management
  • Expertise with API development (GraphQL, REST) and Node.js, and implementation technologies such as microservices
  • Experience with event driven protocols such as MQTT or Kafka
  • Experience with Terraform and CDKTF
  • Strong background in authentication and authorization protocols and applications such as Azure Entra ID and OIDC.
  • Understanding of React.js and HTML or CSS (front-end development)


TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Subject to business needs 10% - 20% of travel may be required.
