ROLE:

Alteryx is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to serve as a Finance Business Partner supporting multiple high-impact functions—including the Chief Product Officer (CPO), Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Head of IT, and other G&A leaders. This is a high-visibility role that blends strategic finance, cross-functional partnership, and technical depth to drive smarter decisions and operational rigor across the business.

The ideal candidate brings financial acumen, technical fluency, and an eagerness to leverage AI and automation to modernize finance workflows. You'll lead key planning, forecasting, and performance management processes while driving actionable insights to fuel operational effectiveness.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Partnership & Strategic Support:

  • Act as a trusted finance advisor to leaders across Product, Technology, IT, and G&A.
  • Support strategic planning, investment prioritization, headcount optimization, and vendor management across supported orgs.
  • Drive data-backed decision-making by delivering clear, actionable financial insights and recommendations.

Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Lead end-to-end planning cycles—including annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and close activities.
  • Conduct detailed variance analysis with insights on key drivers, risks, and levers.
  • Build and maintain scalable financial models to support scenario planning and business cases.

Data & Automation:

  • Automate recurring reporting and planning processes using tools like Excel, Tableau, Alteryx, and Snowflake.
  • Develop self-serve dashboards and templates to empower business stakeholders.
  • Partner with Data and Systems teams to align on metrics and maintain data integrity.

AI-Forward Finance:

  • Embrace and implement AI/ML tools to enhance forecasting, reporting, and analytical efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual workflows and improve decision velocity using AI-enabled insights.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4–7 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or business analytics experience—ideally within tech/SaaS.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
  • High proficiency with tools like Excel, Tableau, and Snowflake; working knowledge of Alteryx, SQL or Anaplan a strong plus
  • Familiarity with GAAP accounting principles—including accruals, expense recognition, capitalization, and other core accounting treatments relevant to forecasting and reporting.
  • Nice to have: Experience using or implementing AI/ML tools to enhance forecasting, automation, or financial analysis workflows.
  • Motivated self-starter with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities with minimal direction
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to summarize detailed information in a concise manner and ability to influence stakeholders
  • Strong sense of intellectual curiosity, great attitude, and passion for building strong relationships
  • Compensation 120,000-130,000 plus bonus
