TITLE:                                    Sr. Financial Analyst

HOURS:                                  Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

DUTIES:                                 Manage and optimize data platforms, including MS SQL Server and AWS Redshift, to ensure accurate and efficient data retrieval and analysis.
Develop and maintain financial reporting dashboards using PowerBI and other visualization tools to provide actionable insights to the business.
Collaborate with internal finance, commercial, and product management teams to standardize and scale reporting infrastructure.
Provide financial planning, analysis, and forecasting support to the Genetic Sciences Division.
Automate data processes and reporting using Python and VBA to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in finance analytics, data visualization, and process automation.
Up to 10% domestic and international travel required.

REQUIREMENTS:                  MINIMUM Education Requirement: Master’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or related field of study. MINIMUM Experience Requirement:  3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, finance, commercial analytics, or related experience. Alternative Education and Experience Requirement:  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, finance, commercial analytics, or related experience.  Required knowledge or experience with: Experience with data mining and statistical analysis; Commercial analytics experience, including high level business segmentation/industry knowledge; Emerging AI trends; Designing innovative AI solutions and leading exploratory projects for new applications; Building data models; SQL and working with large datasets and relational databases, such as MS SQL Server and AWS Redshift; PowerBI and other visualization tools to create interactive dashboards and reports; Programming in Python, with experience automating data processes and reporting; Presenting sophisticated financial analysis to senior management; and Excel.

Salary: $139568 to $148900 per year
