As a Sr. Financial Analyst based in Morgan Hill you will the following responsibilities:

  • Be an integral partner with the budgeting, planning, and forecasting processes and move the organization to best practices to utilize the functionality of Workday Adaptive Insights Planning.
  • Design and maintain reports in Adaptive, SAC as well as enhance the content and create intuitive designs/layouts for company presentations in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Be the Workday Adaptive Insights System Administrator responsible for the daily maintenance of the system to ensure data integrity between Planning system and SAP ERP. Will build and maintain sheets, formulas, levels, dimensions, accounts, assumptions and allocations.
  • Deliver management reporting, financial modeling and analysis, including KPIs, dashboards, business trends to cross functional teams.
  • Summarize analysis, proposals, and conclusions in succinct presentations for use by regional and senior management.
  • Develop, prepare, and present specialized reports, forecasts, profitability analysis, pricing analysis, other ad-hoc projects and complex financial models.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal customers in various organizations and work proactively to identify and solve problems.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively field questions, discuss financial issues, explain analysis and support financial tracking of key projects with a wide range of audiences with varying levels of financial acumen.
  • Possess aptitude to process financial data and formulate analytical reports and reconciliations. Be able to think strategically from high level with consideration for broader implications of various alternatives.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret meaningful financial trends and propose action plans for improvement.
  • Work closely with operational groups to develop modeling and other analysis to drive initiatives, monitor trends, identify exceptions, and determine return on investment of key business projects.
  • This position will report to the Director of Cost & FP&A based in Morgan Hill.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance or Economics from four-year College or university and a minimum of six years of related experience and/or training.
  • Knowledge of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of financial terms, concepts and accounting principles and the ability to comprehend and interpret complex financial transactions.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Strong computer skills, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Broad experience with other software and financial systems is desired (particularly SAC, Adaptive, HFM Consolidation, PeopleSoft Financials, or Cognos Planning).
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively review and provide an accurate, well-organized deliverable in a time-conscious fashion.

The annual base salary range for this position is $165,000 - $190,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Anritsu Company considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
