SR. FINANCIAL ANALYST, FP&A
- - Corporate Finance to consolidate and report on total company performance globally
- Help drive and execute DSC’s financial planning agenda:
- Build and maintain the financial models to forecast the business
- Drive planning and forecasting of our cost base across advertising spend, overhead and Capex. Collaborate with other departments to understand the assumptions of our models
- Understand the relationship and sensitivity of our financials to different KPIs in order to validate outcomes
- Own the accuracy of our financial forecast and be able to understand and piece out the drives of the variance to expectations
- Build DSC financial reporting infrastructure to help drive/inform decisions:
- Leverage Hyperion Planning and Essbase with super-user expertise.
- Build and maintain key financial reports for the organization, from weekly revenue flash to month-end variance analysis.
- Be able to see “beyond the numbers” (the “what” and “why”) while communicating succinctly in writing and verbally.
- Financial planning and budgeting:
- Play an active role in our planning processes by unifying different workstreams into our financials plans. Help “connect the dots” and ensure we are covering all bases.
- Analytics:
- Help unlock value by proactively leveraging data analytics. Drive deep dives into our data to help understand a trend or answer a tough and insightful business question.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor Degree in quantitative or business field (finance, economics).
- 4+ years professional experience in related industry (management consulting, I-Banking, Private Equity, Ad-Tech/Digital Media). Prior experience in subscription-based models, e-commerce or internet/digital B2C a super plus.
- Strong proficiency with Excel a must. Entry-level database query language a strong plus.
- Ability to synthesize large sets of data from multiple, seemingly unrelated sources and enjoy the process
