Olo is a leading SaaS platform accelerating digital transformation in the restaurant industry, by helping customers deliver more personalized and profitable guest experiences. As a result, our digital ordering, payment, and guest engagement solutions enable brands to do more with less and make every guest feel like a regular.

We are looking for an experienced finance professional to help build out the GTM Finance function. Reporting to the Director, FP&A, the Sr. Finance Manager - GTM will bring strong analytical rigor and operational experience to help support and drive a critical Olo organization by partnering with leaders across GTM, including our Sales Leadership team, EVPs of CX and Marketing, and SVP of Partner Ecosystem. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about collaborating with GTM leaders as a strategic thought partner, managing investments to drive revenue, and optimizing overall functional P&Ls, as well as someone who can bring strong analytical rigor and operational experience to help support the GTM org at Olo.

You will also help drive decision making around a complex revenue model that requires inputs from cross-functional teams (GTM, CX, Product, S&O, and more) and an understanding of platform/product and macro trends. You will manage Olo’s revenue forecast model with a heavy focus on driving forecast predictability across key revenue metrics (ACV, ARR, Revenue, Active Locations, ARPU, etc.). To ensure strong forecast accuracy and alignment with business trajectory, you must be effective at partnering with cross-functional teams and questioning inputs, while having strong attention to detail, curiosity, and a data-driven attitude.

You can work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. or at Olo’s headquarters in NYC.

What You'll Do

  • Operate as FP&A’s strategic thought partner to Go-To-Market (Sales, CX, Partner Ecosystem, Marketing) leadership, gathering insights into future revenue and product monetization opportunities by incorporating inputs into what-if scenarios/ad hoc analyses.
  • Collaborate with other FP&A, GTM Analytics, and Strategy partners to maintain and improve revenue forecast models, capturing all variables that can potentially impact revenue such as implementation timing, order volumes, upsells, churn, etc.
  • Evaluate GTM investments and derivative metrics to form data driven perspectives and propose P&L optimizing actions, and simplify and articulate narratives that outline easy to digest capital allocation strategies across wage and non-wage investments.
  • Investigate and communicate variances between Actuals and Forecast, while highlighting trends and potential risks and opportunities for Olo, then share findings with the CFO, Investor Relations, and other key stakeholders.
  • Support annual planning, budget, and forecast cycles with respect to Product planning.
  • Be a subject matter expert on customer acquisition/sales funnels and related SaaS performance metrics (LTV, CAC, Net Magic Number etc.), as well as customer engagement dynamics; understand, analyze, and communicate related market & channel trends.
  • Create ad-hoc analyses to drive business strategy, improve efficiency and maximize ROI alongside a deep, recurring focus on understanding Marketing investments and benefits.
  • Assist in preparation of materials for Board of Director meetings and internal leadership meetings.

What We'll Expect From You

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting (CFA a plus) or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, strategic planning, investment banking, or related fields.  FP&A function experience is strongly preferred. Restaurant or restaurant tech experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
  • Highly proficient in financial analysis and model building.
  • Highly proficient in Excel, Powerpoint, Google Sheets/Slides.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
