Manage environmental assessment projects, write and review ESA reports, oversee quality control, and communicate with clients, while leading site activities as needed.
BLEW is excited to announce an opening for a Sr. ESA Reviewer. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing projects that involve the assessment of environmental conditions for various projects across the United States. This is a fantastic opportunity in the commercial real estate due diligence industry.
Responsibilities- Write & review Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) assignments.
- Provide solid recommendations and solutions to Managing Directors and clients while understanding the assessment’s potential impact on the transaction process.
- Oversee quality control throughout the project’s life cycle.
- Manage field technician during site visits and occasionally lead fieldwork activities as necessary.
- Complete research (historical, regulatory, etc.).
- Communicate with client and subject site representatives.
- Conduct appropriate site reconnaissance.
- Data compilation and organization.
- Prepare quality supporting documentation (site figures, appendices, etc.).
- Other tasks as assigned by the Managing Director, associated with the report deliverable schedule and plan.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in environmental assessments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Professional certifications, such as Certified Environmental Professional (CEP) is a plus.
- Radon & AHERA (Asbestos) certifications are a plus.
- Proficient in project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
