Position Overview
Yahoo is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Sr. Equity Compensation Administrator to support the administration and operations of our global long-term incentive (LTI) equity programs. This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate processing, reporting, and employee support across our time-based and performance-based equity awards.
What You’ll Do:

Fully understand Yahoo’s Long Term Incentive Plan and all related plan documents to ensure accurate interpretation and administration.

Administer Yahoo’s LTI Plan, including time-based and performance-based awards.

Manage day-to-day equity transactions such as grants, vesting, new hire onboarding, and terminations to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting.

Maintain accurate records aligned with plan rules, accounting standards, and internal controls.

Prepare and support monthly, quarterly, and annual equity reporting for financial and audit purposes.

Partner closely with HR, Finance, Legal, and external vendors to ensure seamless equity administration.

Provide responsive, high-quality support to employees; lead educational sessions and develop training materials as needed.

Identify and implement process improvements to scale equity operations and drive automation.

Maintain process documentation to support internal controls and audit readiness.

Conduct ad hoc analysis, data reconciliations, and research to support equity program initiatives.
Who You Are:
-
3+ years of experience in LTI equity administration or compensation operations.
-
Strong sense of ownership with the ability to operate independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.

Self-starter who takes initiative to identify issues, recommend solutions, and drive work forward with minimal direction.

Proficient to Advanced in Excel and GSheets with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.

Strong communicator who delivers exceptional internal customer service and partners effectively across functions.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Experience with equity administration platforms; Fidelity is preferred

Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation is a plus.

The compensation for this position ranges from $90,750.00 - $188,750.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
