Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager to lead our Application Support team for myPBM.

This role is responsible for:

  • Overseeing daily operations, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the highest levels of application reliability and user satisfaction.

  • Being a strategic leader, skilled in managing complex technical environments and fostering a culture of engagement and accountability.

  • Manage teams that have both legacy and modern tech stack

  • Work closely with cross functional teams including product and the business and handle ad hoc requests

Required Qualifications

7+ years in application support or technical operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role including the following:

  • Experience managing customer requirements and delivering effective solutions.

  • Advanced knowledge of enterprise application platforms (e.g., RxClaim, AS/400, SQL, Java, Angular, Spring Boot, Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, Harness, Web Services, AWS, GPC, Splunk, AppDynamics & Service Now).

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, complex environment.

  • Strong problem management and production support experience.

  • Excellent communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare, pharmacy benefits management, or similar regulated industries.

  • Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, or other service management frameworks.

  • Experience with automation, monitoring, and incident management tools.

  • MBA or advanced degree a plus.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$75,400.00 - $182,549.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
