The Sr. Email Marketing & Deliverability Manager will optimize email strategies, improve deliverability, oversee email campaigns, run A/B tests, and advocate for best practices in email marketing.

As Sr. Email Strategy & Deliverability Manager your main objective is to maximize participation rate for our clients. We are looking for someone with profound knowledge in email strategy & deliverability with an appetite to be responsible for a mission critical topic with high visibility. This role will report to our Head of Client Success & Services. While we prefer someone on-site for this role, we are open to remote for the right candidate who may not be located in Utah.
Key Responsibilities:
- Email Strategy: Develop and drive a holistic strategy to improve participation rate - the percentage of conducted interviews per participants emailed
- Optimize Deliverability: Improve our email deliverability and inbox placement, taking into account technical (e.g. IP/domain reputation, DKIM keys, ESP) and content aspects (e.g. email size, copywriting)
- Copywriting & Execution: Own the end-to-end creation and iteration of email sequences and SMS
- Testing & Iteration: Run A/B tests to identify data-driven ways to improve email performance; track performance by customer type, email provider and so forth and continuously optimize
- Product Advocacy: Recommend product features and email infrastructure developments that will aid in email performance
- Lead on Best Practices: Be the subject matter expert on and stay up to date with email strategy and deliverability best practices
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in email-related fields (email marketing, email strategy, email product development, etc.)
- Knowledge of the intricacies of B2B email outreach (e.g. testing with limited sample size)
- Proven track record of communicating with engineers on technical aspects of email like deliverability
- Ability to communicate with internal stakeholders and articulate your needs effectively
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable driving a mission critical aspect of the business
- Bonus: Up to date knowledge in recent developments in email-related AI tools
